You can take my PRSI out of my cold dead hands

I'll bet PRSI will look tame when the new Mac Pro gets released there is 7 years of angst built up in that section. Should be fun ;)

PRSI looks relatively tame when contrasted with (or compared to) the perfervid emotions generated in (or by) the iPhone section of the forum.

It would be nice to see who is ignoring you. Just so I don't wonder why they don't respond. But in the end, I guess that's probably a good thing, otherwise it could lead to abuse (creating another account to pay back, etc...).

Interesting.

I have no issues with the iPhone forum. It's actually one of the main forums I frequent.

I could say what you say about the Intel Mac forums however. Users of PowerPC Macs and early Intel Macs are rarely welcome there, dealt with harshly and refused help solely based on the age of the Macs we choose to use. Thankfully we have our own section of MacRumors.

I was astonished to find 10 people on my ignore list, most of them I had forgotten about, all from PRSI.

Of possible interest 6 of them are suspended, and 1 was recently unsuspended, so I feel somewhat vindicated in my ignore decisions, of who I don’t want or need to waste my time responding too. :D

This seems to mirror or reflect the experience of several who have posted here and who have availed of the ignore function; on re-visiting it, some time later, they have noticed that many of those whom they have chosen to ignore have subsequently been suspended.

You can’t share your ignore list, but with that hit rate, maybe you’ll share your stock picks? ;)

This is something I've been wondering (and wanting to create a poll) about for a little while given the many threads in Site and Forum Feedback about various aspects of the ignore feature. Feel free to elaborate on whichever number range you chose.

As it turns out, there's already a poll on this, but it's from nearly a decade ago. I decided that rather than necromance an old thread, I'd create a second version; that way we can see what has changed over the past nine years.

For myself, there are zero people I've ignored. That number used to be one, but that person was suspended, so I removed their name. As a fan of Apple products who is still dissatisfied with certain aspects of the company, I'm open to a range of opinions. But this user was inarticulate, agrammatical, and always always negative; it felt like a genuine waste of time reading their posts.
Ignore list? What's that? :D

I think that you may find that quite a number of individuals who have found their way onto various ignore lists may - on subsequent inspection - have also found their way to having been suspended.
