Will you be switching to Verizon

It would be so expensive for me to switch to Verizon. And for what? 3G service for when I visit the middle of nowhere North Dakota? I'll pass.

I would like an unlocked iPhone, if it can work on both verizon and att that would be good. Overall im happy w At&t.

I can't wait for a Verizon iPhone. Mostly because those who have bad AT&T reception can get off of the network. The 4G is a big trump card for Verizon, but we've been hearing that the ViP (Verizon iPhone) won't be 4G compatible. But, I also expect AT&T to not let VZW get all of the glory. They should be close to their getting their 4G service online. I'm actually proud of AT&T. About 3-4 weeks ago, I noticed that my signal strength was stronger & my phone finally showed 3G signal. And I'm considered to be "out in the sticks". So long as I can keep my unlimited data plan & the 4G comes online sometime in 2011, I'll stick with AT&T.

I'd never give up the ability to swap phones at will by simply swapping sims. If Verizon was GSM I might think about it ..... for about 10 seconds then stay with ATT.

Everyone is waiting to Apple to release a Verizon iPhone, hopefully early next year. But how many of us will make the switch from AT&T, and for what reasons? Would you switch? Why or why not?

iPhone + roman numeral 5 = iPhone V

Since when has a select few of Americans been the same as everyone. Almost no one outside the US cares about a cdma iPhone, and in fact a large percentage of Americans dont care either. What you meant to say is "I am waiting for Apple to release a Verizon iphone"

Just for the sake of argument, Verizon's 4G network will use SIM cards. But, the iPhone 4 doesn't use standard sized SIM cards. Oh well, maybe next year's model (2012) will have dual band chipsets. Also, I found out how important the ability to swap SIM cards was. I had a problem with my 3GS & had to swap the SIM into an old Moto Razr phone. It worked in a pinch.

Micro-sim is a standard. Any carrier can use it. If Verizon carries an LTE iPhone, they will have micro-sims.

I hate verizon. and would never switch.... however i would like apple to release the damn verizon iphone so all of you verizon customers could shut up and stop whining about it already

I use both Verizon and AT&T for the many smartphones I use. I'm very glad to see Verizon get the iPhone mainly for all their customers. Now they will save a huge amount of money by not having to pay an ETF to migrate to AT&T.

I've always had really good service from both of them, with the only slight difference being Verizons higher prices. Over a decade I've found that there is little if any difference in the network performance. I experience great call clarity and quality, on both of their networks.

I don't miss those Customer Service people that had names like bob, sam mary but had a thick India accent.(drove me crazy) been away from Verizon for almost 4 years I still don't miss them.

I'm on Verizon currently so of course I hope that it comes to Verizon. I have a Droid right now and it has me not completely satisfied. Also there is no AT&T service anywhere near me, so that isn't an option to get the iPhone.

I left Verizon because I wanted an iPhone 3GS. I have no regrets at all.

Verizon sales and service reps seemed like used car con artists.

AT&T sales and service reps seem to me to be the exact opposite. In all my dealings with them I have always felt they have treated me fairly.

You couldn't pay me to go back to Verizon.

I've got an idea if you have an iphone on att and like it stay with it if you don't then switch. Or if you like verizon and want an iphone buy it. Problem solved. I don't see how anything else factors into it.

just switched from big red about a month ago. love at&t. the service, prices, signal strength is far better than verizon for me. never goin back.

Then you're not thinking hard enough.

I'm thinking too hard it seems along with a majority of iphone users/ hopefulls.

As stated earlier, I came over from Verizon. I really like AT&T so far, its been 5 months. Not one problem.

I really want to see what Verizon does with the iPhone, if they get it. Will they lock it down or withhold functions like they do to their other phones. Ringtones, etc a charge for this and that.

When I was with them, they seemed to nickel and dime you to death.

I'm hoping that you will ALL move to Verizon in January so I can have the entire AT&T Network all to myself AND so there will be no more Verizon/iPhone rumor threads! :D

In my opinion ATT customer service is top notch both phone support and in the stores.
