im 15 and i got my 3G iPhone 8gb on july 12 for my bday.

my bday was july 6 and i got a piece of paper with an IOU for an iPhone from mum and dad.

i'm 16, got the 3G for my birthday, but i pay the monthly bill.
woohoo! 30 bucks from my check feels so good, i love a light wallet.
*cough*

I'm 18 (wait, I'm 19 today, wee :D) and my company bought me mine (for development purposes). Would never buy one myself because AT&T is just terrible.

Well I have a Dare but only because AT&T service is terrible. I dont see why its a big deal for a teenager to have an iPhone?

I'm 15 now. I bought the 1st gen 8gb on June 29, 2007 and got 3G this year in late July.

I'm 16 and have had both phones. Got the iPhone for my 16th birthday, but I was 15 at the time as it was an early gift. Then, over the summer I sold it and got the iPhone 3G.

im 14. got my white 16gb 3g on 7/11/08. first in line!

i also have a home made hackintosh i made myself....

3 of my friends have iphones as well.... one has a 1st gen and 3g, another got the black 3g in august, and another has the first gen.

edit: i payed for the phone itself, and i dont get a new one if i break mine. and i paid for my computer too.

I am 21, but I am thinking about getting my smaller brother an iPhone for x-mas (14 years old).

Do any of the teens who responded pay for the service? I saw that many of you paid for the actual phone, which is laudable. I just fear parents GIVING something so costly (especially with how teens do texting) to a kid. People my age (I'm 30) racked up extreme bills just based on minutes before all the Rollover stuff and when we had maybe 50 free minutes.

No, my dad pays for it. He paid for the phone too.

I'm 16 and I have a 3g. I payed for the phone, but I'm on my dad's plan. We pay about the same price that my old phone cost on a Sprint plan. I don't really talk or text on it that much, so there aren't any extra charges to worry about. The only thing I use a lot is the unlimited data.

I got mine over the summer when I was 18, I just turned 19 a few days ago (the 14th). I paid the full price for the phone ($399) and I pay the extra $30 a month to my parents that goes on the bill for the unlimited data. The rest of it was covered under my family plan and they take care of it as long as I keep up the grades in school.
