I think it comes with 1GB, 256MB vRAM and the faster processor, but I'd just go for the low-end one and upgrade it to 1GB which will cost like $90. I agree with you Zimmy. All this waiting = money piling up = you can buy a better, more expensive computer. Maybe that's Apple's strategy, lol.
