Back when I used to be on tour, I don't think a day went by without a few drinks after the show at the hotel bar or whatever local haunt we could find.

Now that I'm settled I usually have a drink with dinner...maybe 4 times a week or so. If I go out with my wife, I'll have a few more. If I go out with friends...all bets are off, although I know my limits very well and know how to keep myself on that edge without going over. I haven't had a hangover in years.

As often as possible. Right now i've been been drinking homemade bahama mamas amd straight disaronno. regards...

+1 @ That :)

Well, idk its not good but as often as i can. Its just a fun way tho, but for some reason i cant just casually drink, i just dont like it unless its really strong hard-a. I just have a thing for beer pong, quarters, flip cup and just games like that :)

Every day when I work away! Lager and Red wine mainly.. When at home just the weekends.

Every weekend. I turned 18 last week, so I can drink legally now (not that my age stopped me before lol). Just started Uni and it's been going great, Its St Patricks day tomorrow that should be very interesting:D

Often enough.

I drank the entire weekend. It was a friend's birthday, and then an early St. Paddy's celebration. I'm also going to celebrate St. Paddy's Day on....well.....St. Paddy's Day. :p

Besides, I just bought a case of Leffe Brun. It's one of my favourites, so I guess I'm going to polish that off too.

I rarely drink any alcoholic beverages or cocktails. I guess some of you have drunk more of them during one weekend than I did in total - although I slowly raise my level. I usually don't like the taste of alcohol in drinks or cocktails (yes, if you don't drink that much you can definitely tell), and beer usually tastes like dishwashing water to me. :D

I make the occasional exception for a Tequila Sunrise or 2cl of Glendronach, although I really have to be in the mood for the latter. Once all few months maybe.

I'd rather light a joint than crack open a bottle of beer or vodka.. I used to drink a lot, but after I turned 20, it just kinda got old. I was drinking till drunk for 3 years straight and it just got old.. throw up in this bathroom and get back to the bar. Now, I will go down and have a couple drinks with friends, but after I got a DUI about 6 months ago, I hardly touch the stuff.

Wow, I never really realized how frequently people drink, it really throws into sharp relief just how little I drink.

The last time I drank was on New Year's Eve, and before that it had been my friend's birthday in October. I was going to have a few drinks tomorrow but my license has gone missing and all my friends are going out for drinks.

To anyone who likes drinking, what's the appeal? Do you like the lack of inhibition or do you honestly like the flavour? I personally can't stand the lack of control, that's my reason for not ingesting any mood-altering medications/alchohol/narcotics/anything that gives you a high of any sort.

I enjoyed the buzz from beer. But for some reason I don't enjoy any other mood-altering substances.

Lack of control? Then you obviously drink too much when you do. Maybe drink less next time.

Even a few small drinks do me in, I am an extreme lightweight. It's nice for keeping costs down but it sucks when one of my jerk friends tries to get me to "loosen up" by slipping me something to drink.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I don't drink enough to get drunk and doing so really doesn't appeal. I'm quite keen on real ales and enjoy trying new brews, so for me the attraction is trying something new and sampling some different flavours.

i'm not much of a drinker. it'll happen once a year..maybe twice.
i don't really like the taste of alcohol.

I tend to have a few beers mid week with my dad but otherwise save it for weekend.

I have a little splash of tequilla + lemonade at home sometimes but I only bought it to make that Pebil thing Johnny Depp eats in Once Upon A Time In Mexico. Or at least try to with what i could get hold of.

Robert Robrigez really knows how to make extras that are worth watching again with those 10 minute cooking schools!

I'm not really a big drinker because most of the popular beers you get in British pubs are horrible. I have IBS and a lot of lousy lager like Budweiser, Fosters, Carling and Kronenburg really don't do me any good at all, infact you might as well boot me really hard in the gut than give me any of those foul liquids.

Becks, Stella, Warsteiner, Hoegaarden, San Miguel, Absinthe, Tequilla, GOOD vodka and the odd Jack Daniels once in while are much better. Even the 4% stella seems quite good me.

I usually drink Corona Extra if I'm not in the mood for pints though and they sell it.

Well I would say it depends on what you drink/take. For me I rarely get drunk anymore. I honestly can't remember the last time I woke up with a hangover. Those day's have long since passed me by.

Like most things I think even though (as I posted earlier) that I drink everyday, doing so in moderation is the key.

It varies, but on average once or twice a week - however, I can sometimes go for a bunch of weeks without touching any alcohol.

Weekly intake? Four pints, max. I haven't been drunk since the work Christmas party, and even that wasn't bad.

Oh, red wine does make an appearance in the cooking though.
