way too much.

thursday, friday, saturday, sometimes wednesday and sunday.. it depends on when there's parties.

and i'm gonna be 21 in about three weeks so the entire month of april is going to be a **** show... :D

i love college.

Twice a week usually. Bar one night with a mate, then I'll have a few drinks in the house at some point over the weekend.

I used to drink most nights, not excessively or anything, just a couple beers, but I put on a lot of weight. Got rid of that (and more, yay!) and now I'm pretty healthy, so it's all about moderation.

I'll get together with friends at a bar or whatever around once a week and have a few. Lately it's been 4L of beer for 2 with a mate. But then it happened twice that people would go home and leave us with an extra 2-3L. And then sometimes we'd drink beforehand.

We've decided to lay off a bit now. Then again, we've got a math. exam friday night (6:30 to 8:30) so we'll be drinking afterwards... meh.

I drink infrequently despite the fact I recently turned twenty one. Once every couple months seems to be the sequence with me.

HAHA, same... I'm < 21 so I cant really drink yet.

That doesn't stop me, lol!

I'm 17 and I drink once a week or so, depending on how many parties there are that weekend. At most, twice a week, at least once, every 2 weeks.

The key is responsibility. I'm not getting trashed off 151 every week, I'm just having a couple beers with friends.

Agree. You just have to have a little self-control and you should be fine. Not like I should talk though, haha. But I absolutely hate the taste of beer, ugh gross.

If you are drinking the rice-based slop, then I understand.

When you get somewhat older give the twigs and branches ales a try.

The U.S. has some nice micro breweries. Try a Sierra Nevada ale for starters.

I've only tried beer once and I think it was Bud Light or something like that, the usual crappy stuff but usually high school students don't have the best taste in alcohol anyways...I'll drink practically anything BUT beer.

I drink about twice a week and i would have around 4 beers, mostly while watching tv shows or a movie.

Depends who's buyin'! Wife's company holiday party with open bar, at least one each of Amaretto Sour, Midori Sour and Kahlua Sombrero (the cream helps balance out all of the acidic mixers from the other two) before dinner and maybe a Grey Goose or Absolut Cape Codder with dinner. My company's holiday party with a cash bar, One Bass Ale before dinner and then a Coke!

Update: just tried an off-brand Amaretto. Let's just say "not so good"!

Desorono, Midori, and Kahlua are three drinks that it doesn't pay to try and skimp with non-call brands. I try to stay away from any drink that requires use of the speed rack (that's the ex-bartender in me talking).

Once in a while. I go through phases where I'll drink more, but never to the point of inebriation (I can't stand feeling out of control).

Generally, a shot or two of Jameson or Balvenie, or this delicious new gin I picked up, which mixes well. Not much, really. Once ever two weeks if that I'd say.

I don't drink at all anymore, I just stopped buying it some time ago and it just hasn't occurred to me to buy some since...

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I don't drink enough to get drunk and doing so really doesn't appeal. I'm quite keen on real ales and enjoy trying new brews, so for me the attraction is trying something new and sampling some different flavours.

That's me. I rarely get drunk when I'm drinking (maybe once a year on New Years). I love trying new brews. There's a bar in town that has over 250 different bottled beers. It's fun to try something different every time.

As often as possible. I don't get drunk though, don't like to be out of control. Years of experience have taught me how to ensure that my drinking goals are met.:cool:

Who else went out for a few beers about 7 tonight, was wearing a St Patrick's day hat within an hour, started drinking Guinness just for the hell of it then got home about half an hour ago and had a ginsters in the microwave for their supper?

I drink a couple of times a week. Since I gave up drinking to get drunk back in college, I usually only drink the expensive stuff. That alone tends to limit my drinking habits. I am a confirmed beer snob. Oddly enough, I hated beer until I started drinking the better brands. It started with Sam Adams and went up from there. Beware the gateway beers! :)

It was the same way with whiskey and scotch. I wasn't a big fan of whiskey until I tried the likes of Jameson's. I didn't care for Scotch until I tried Glenlivet 18 year old.

And I still hate tequila in any form. Too many bad memories!

I am also drinking some good stouts tonight in honor of my ethnic heritage.

Guiness....a meal in a glass. And good fro pregnant women apparently

When I used to drink, occasionally I'd been known to have a dram or two of Talisker , one of the best drinks known to man imo, It's quite peaty/smokey but then again it depends on which 'version' you try, I suggest them all at some point:)
If your ever on Skye I suggest a visit, they have bottles on sale only available at the distillery which are just something else for flavor.
