With the P9 Lite I got a couple of weeks ago I decided to set it up gradually, a bit a day, some days nothing. Now I've got it exactly the way I like.

I've never really been able to install successfully from a backup on a new Android device; iPhones are no problem at all.

There was a chap on the podcast Mysteries Abound which doesn't have ads. He was doing everything on his Macbook from 2011 and the machine had become a bit slow so he asked his listeners for donations towards an upgrade.

He got it too.

Compulsive- trying to change this. Although, I'm pretty sure I'll want the anniversary iPhone 8... I upgraded every year since the 4/5.
4-5-6-6s-7- (8 possibly)

Seriously, my husband said I'll probably upgrade every year but I reallly want to be less compulsive as I am trying to save more $$$ and less shopping.

So, my plan is I'll stick with the anniversary phone for 2 years.

I just recently switched from a 4S. It was time, I have the cash (fully paid, no 24 payment silliness), and bless Apple, got the 4" I was waiting for.

We can't stick with any phone 2 years! Haha I'm just like you. I'm pretty extreme though as I'm not just buying iOS devices!

Me too sadly.
Some might say shopping addicted or just retail therapy intense- either way I'm hoping to change things this year. New year resolution- be less of a compulsive shopper.

At least I know I'm not suffering alone. I'm going to have to stop if I get the 8. At least make it 2 years. Will I be able to? Don't know. May end up with a house full of Chinese knockoff Android phones.

Every year once is my requirement now. :p

One year once is my target this year. Is time to stop the habit purchase at least 3 phones per year.

Just count back, on year 2016 I had actually purchase 7 phones!
  • Apple iPhone 7 Plus (buy twice, 32GB sold, now using 128GB)
  • LG Google Nexus 5x (sold)
  • Huawei P9 Plus (sold)
  • Mi Max (already give to my sister)
  • Redmi Note 3 (already give to my father)
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (sold).

Normally every other year, this is the first time I skipped out on a launch (iPhone 7). Waiting for the 8 instead (or whatever they end up calling it).

I went 3gs- 5s - 6s+ - 7+. I plan on keeping the 7+ for as long as possible, 2020 or 2021, replacing the battery every couple of years.
