Nobody really cares about screen to body ratio.
The chin,the forehead and the curved display makes the display feel smaller than it really is compared to a flat display like the iPhone X.
iPhone X is much more immersive than the note 9. Because it doesn’t have a chin or forehead.
The s9 and the iPhone X have the same screen size but the bezels make the s9 look clunkier next to the iPhone X, even though it has a higher screen to body ratio than the iPhone X, just doesn’t look like it.

Bottom bezel:. IPX=5mm N9=7mm

Curved displays and chin plus forehead still makes it look clunky next to the iPhone.

Bixby is slow as molasses compared to Siri.
Then it shouldn’t be crappier than Siri, should it.

Reason why everyone remaps the bixby button
when they get a galaxy, no one actually uses it unless they have to; Samsung employees.
Siri is great for commands, actually better than google assistant.

Sure. iPhone X, google pixel 3 xl, Huawei, Motorola, lg, Xiaomi, Nokia, you know the industry all have notches.
So Samsung and Sony are the only ones left with the dated bezels. Not going to be good for sales.

This video just shows how dumb Siri is. You can SEE WITH YOUR EYES. Infinitely better than any made up charts. e.g. ask Siri to take selfie, it just open camera and stops there. Bixby accomplished the task fully.
Have fun being mesmerized by Siri and that foreheaded notch

Bixby is more intelligent and can do more in theory but it just doesn’t work. Never understood what I was saying. It was infuriating having to repeat a command 5 times and for it still not to do what I asked. Asks you for you password to unlock the device, you say it and it asks for it again and again. Total rubbish. I’ll give Samsung some credit because it is better than S voice and in theory the assistant is supposed to do things that none of the others can do. However in reality it doesn’t work.
It works fine in recognizing voice in the video
. Otherwise that apple fansite would have torn Bixby apart.
Well I’m glad it works for someone. Didn’t work for me. I tried it on the note 8 and S9 plus. Seemed worse on the S9 plus. Seems you can’t disable it on the note 9.It works fine in recognizing voice in the video
It even failed during the Note 9 unpacked event.
Google assistant is better than them all.
No doubt Google assistant is better at general query. But Bixby is more integrated with device. I would say best of both worlds. Use Bixby for doing device related tasks and GA for every other thing.
Bixby needs to improve, maybe with 2.0. Next time I get a Samsung device I will try it out again.
Google assistant really can answer any question though.

All I see is bixby being being slow compared to Siri. And again Siri is better at commands then general inquiry.
And Bixby isn’t.

Don’t care about what one video says..bixby is awful and Siri is far better. Siri may not be amazing but it at least does basic tasks well. Bixby can’t even do that.

Not sure why anybody who has a Samsung device would use anything but google assistant anyway seeing as it’s built in with the phone anyway

Except it was slow at processing the command compared to Siri, not slow at prompting the virtual assistant.
