Whats so hard to understand? jfyrfytr25 is pointing out that it's pretty silly to get so worked up over a small hunk of metal, plastic, and glass when there are many actual real problems in the world that could benefit from kresh's time and energy.

I think it was a kinder way of telling the OP to get over it and do something useful his/her time?

But what about the posters who get so worked up over me? They are doubly damned, right?

hehe, but everyone was deprived of their Jack in the Box burgers until the problem was found and eradicated.

I understand your asking me to drop it and move on. Let me try to explain. I love the iPhone 4, it is by far the best device I have ever owned. It just will not make phone calls.

I was forced to return it despite my drooling over it as I handed it back to the Apple store employee. I want the thing fixed. Apple has repeatedly denied that there is a problem, have shown no indication that they are working on a fix.

I want my iPhone 4 back, working, and will go to extreme lengths to force Apple to admit the problem and fix it.

Fair enough, but I don't think this is the right avenue or approach to achieve your goal. ;)

You're obviously not a typical immature, uneducated, smoke blowing moron. You did your part by returning it, now you're just poking at the hive out of spite when patience, as you know, is the prudent course.

But good luck.

Thank you. Yes I will admit to taking whacks at the hornet's nest, which I have done before in real life - ouch, but patience is for the young! :D

I like to call it "escalation of force".

Step 1) Complain to Apple
Reaction: Apple denies a problem

Step 2) Complain on Forums
Reaction: Apple denies but says if problem hold differently

Step 3) Return iPhone
Reaction: Apple gladly takes iPhone 4 back to refurbish and pass along to another unsuspecting schmuck.

Step 4) File Class Action Lawsuit or File FCC complaint

Apple started this whole mess by denying a problem, trying to sell a rubber band at full retail to hide the problem, deny the problem some more, and so on.

I am not going to stop even if I have to go to Android forums and beg Android users to file an FCC complaint against Apple for "Deceptive or Unlawful Advertising".

So this isn't asking anybody file fraudulant claims? Asking people who don't even own the device to file complaints? Again, please tell me you don't work for NASA.

I apologize. I didn't know you were doing the lords work and keeping us all safe. Your selflessness (is that a word) is obvious.
Why are you so pissed at apple man? There are a lot of moving parts to the whole deal. Is their silence on the matter annoying? Yes but in todays world they can't say anything without exposing themselves to a huge lawsuit, much like the one you are proposing. It could be as simple a fix as it was to fix the Griswalds christmas lights. Let them sort it out

+1

Haha! I've certainly taken my fair share of swings, but sometimes, I can be the voice of reason. :D

I'm amazed at how fast this thread has grown...

Now it's just a flame-fest - is there a form I can fill out with the FCC about that? Kidding...kidding. :p

Fink :apple:

It is not fraud to complain about deceptive advertising which is directed at you, whether you purchased the item or not.

blubyu isn't talking about "complaining", but about actually filing complaints to a government agency. In which case it would be fraudulent.

Come on man.....everyone is having a hard time understanding!!! It's not like we don't like our phone!!! Jesus!!! It's the fact that some of us have never had this reception issue until iphone 4.......AND IT'S FRUSTRTING!!! Where did you misunderstand that this is a "forum" where people express their feelings if you don't appreciate that then you should go else where.....most of us are just frustrated that we bought a PHONE! And can't use it as a PHONE......

It's fine to vent. However, the OP is so frustrated with his that he wants to complain to the FCC and get others to do the same. If you have reached that level of frustration, I don't know why you would want to hang on to the device in question--it defies logic. Is the iPhone worth that much grief? Return it and get on with your lives.

Saying it over and over does not make it so. Just look at the complaint form. The form never asks when or where you purchased the item that you are filing a deceptive advertising complaint against. The form only asks for the location and time of the advertisement and what makes it deceptive.

Strike 3...You're OUT!

are you 13? Id like to see how you can blame the cell phone when someone is getting raped. Lets bypass the criminal and really get down to the truth. It's Apples fault she got raped. She had the Iphone 4 and was just asking for it.

You seem like Gagoots here on the board... shift the blame

Clearly you can't read very well. You must be half as old as you suggest I am. LOL.

You think Steve Jobs should be in jail over a hypothetical situation. I completely understand what you said and think that it is crazy.

Are you asking if I am keeping vigil, or by saying simply "Vigil Kresh" are you asking me if I am awake?

edit: If you asked if I am keeping vigil, then I would say that I thought everyone that had threads that interested them would keep them in a tab to be visited periodically.

Really, I don't get it. Sorry.

Nevermind, I thought you were someone else.
