I had a really good experience. I got to my local AT&T at 5am and no body was in line so I got to be the first. The store manager brought out chic fil a mini biscuits and coffee for everyone which I thought was pretty nice of them. I was able to get the only space grey 128gb 6+ they had at the store. I'm really glad I went because my preorder wasn't going to come in until sometime in October.

Mine was fantastic. Was driving by an AT&T store at 7:15 on my way to work and saw there were only two people in line. Hopped out and had a new 6 in my hand by 8:15! And I made it to work on time :D

Had the same experience, except it was a TMobile store. Wasn't planning to stop or get caught up in the launch day hype, but as I passed by a local Detroit suburb store, noticed there were only 3 people in line at 7:45am. So i stopped, and got out and asked, and they said they opened at 8am, but they only had iP6's in 64GB (all colors), but no iP6+'s or 16 or 128GB's in any variation. Luckily, i was looking for a 64GB. Held a Galaxy Note 3 in my hand for a few to get an idea what the iP6+ would be like, determined it would be too big for my preference, so i picked up a iP6 64GB Space Grey, and was out the door by 8:30am (only reason it took that long was they had computer issues for the first 15 minutes).

Guess I was just in the right place at the right time.

Well lets see, had to take the wife to work so nearest place was an ATT store, about 10-12 people outside, got to the back of the line and greeted with we didn't get an 6+, would you like some water or a snack. The crowd reported that the let about 1 person per CSO inside . After 1 mins was able to ascertain that people were spending a lot of time looking at cases and after about 30 mins only 2 people had left and 2 more going in with about 4 joining the line behind with the same greeting- couple people left after being told not Pluses. That said at the 0850 make was informed that the are only allowing 1 per customer but you can order more for delivery. That sucks as I wanted 2 one for myself and another for the wife. The lady behind me also reported the Best Buy about 1/2 mile away had the same slow moving line- gave about the same report- stated boyfriend works there- makes one wonder why she wasn't getting it there. Anyway. Left at that point to go to the near by Apple Store about 15 mins away- total zoo, guessing maybe 300 people in the mall waiting, screw that. It was about 940 then and Id worked a night shift and have to go back at 7Pm, so since I have to pass B.B why not. Walked in 4 in line, several being assisted and several looking at cases.

So scored 2, 64GB ATT, suppose to be Space Gray, though when i get home, and open my its Silver- I will live. Wifes is black, 2 cases, spare charging cord and traded my phone.

The phone is my birthday present so back in the box until then.

You.. guys.. are... killing... me....

Was pretty good for the most part, with a bit of a let down.

Got there roughly 2:30 w/ a friend, and there were 4 or so other people. Got along pretty well with a couple of them, and the whole time there were no issues. At like 6 something, the manager peaks his head out to see how it looks out there, and someone asks him if he has any plus models. Of course he didn't want to say, but the individual asking said he's been there since 11pm and would want to know so he knows whether or not he's wasting his time. Eventually he gets across that no, he doesn't have any plus models. We hoped it wasn't true and that he meant some, but nope, a Verizon corporate store with 0 plus models.

I ended up getting the 64GB gray (which looks more silver) regular 6. The experience with people was great, and I did at least get a phone, but I'm still kinda unhappy I didn't get the one I want. In a day maybe I'm going to see if I can get an idea of when the Apple stores restock.

I'll be picking mine up shortly at the local Apple store. I pre-ordered and am waiting for the crowds to thin out a bit.

Good day. Got the kids off to school, then went to breakfast with the wife. Stopped by Fedex to see if they would let me have it then... Nope. Went home to do some stuff around the house. FedEx showed around 11am.

Happy happy joy joy!! Both iPhone 6 64 SG in excellent condition!!

I was tenth in line at my local AT&T, got there at 1am. They only had 1 plus so I left empty handed. :(

Went to tmobile store 1 at 5 am, manager came outside at 7:30 said they didn't get the shipment in but we could have it shipped to my house so I left. Second tmobile store only had 10 16gb golds. I wanted the space grey so I left there too. Third tmobile store got there around 7:55 and they only had space grey 64 gb, exactly what I was looking for. I was around 8th in line but it took an hour or so. Came home and ups delivered my 3 preorders about an hour ago so overall I got what I wanted.

Showed up at 8:15 at local Verizon Store. There were 8 people in front of me in line, and about 6 inside the store. There is an AT&T store right beside the Verizon store and there were around 25 people in line. I was in line for around 20 minuets eating Crispy Cream and chatting. Went in, got my 64GB Grey 6 and a case and glass screen protector using edge up and all went well. They received 5 6+ and 20 64GB grey 6. I don't know about the other models they had in stock, but the 64GB grey 6 was what they received the most of.

Frikking screen protector ahh it's late

Somewhere in Cupertino, Tim Cook is celebrating with flamenco dancers...

bawhaha I can't believe you made that.

my experience was good. I had one shipped to my house via pre-order verizon, and I also waited in line at an apple store since 4:30 am with my friend to snag a couple iPhone pluses. It was a lot of time standing but seeing a line-cutter get sent to the back right at the start of the line was worth it alone. The dude waited two hours just a few people in front of me and the Apple store people were certainly aware of him right when he got to the front. They let him save face though and did it in the nicest way possible without humiliating him, but you could feel the justice in the air after.

Picked up my 6 at the UPS hub around 11:00, was glad to find out that T-Mobile from the apple store online was indeed unlocked. The UPS guy said there were 30 people there this morning at 9:00 waiting in line, so I'm glad I waited till 11:00.

You're all making me jealous! UPS STILL hasn't shown up.
I wish I had done a hold for pickup.
Funny, I actually miss the Launch Day craziness at the Apple Store. My stop by just to see what it looks like while I wait...

I got up and went to my local verizon store. got there at around 6 am. I was 27th in line. thankfully a bunch of people in front of me wanted the 6 because I got the last 6+. My store said they had received 11 when I was checking out.. I felt bad when I left because there were about 25 people behind me and most of them talking when we were in line were wanting the 6+. I was going to tell them when I walked out but didnt because I figured they would just think I was lying... the store wouldnt tell anybody what they had in stock and I know some of those people were either going to go home empty handed or have to switch to a 6.

The standout colors this year are definitely the space gray and gold... The gray looks gorgeous and gold looks fantastic in real life. Mind blown.

My wife and daughters' 6's showed up around 11:30 this morning. My 6+ is due late next week. Disappointed a bit based simply on the fact that I was up attempting to order at 3:00am on 9/12 and finally got my confirmation email @ 3:48EDT.

I did run down to the AT&T store to look for a case for one of my kids' phones. I was actually surprised by how relatively calm things were there. Apparently they were really busy first thing, but after that things settled down. At 1:00pm I was able to go in and buy a 128 SG IP6 for my work line with no waiting, so that was good. I was going to wait a while before I decided to do anything with that line, but after seeing the phones in person and since they had exactly what I was looking for, I went ahead and grabbed it.

Pleasant.

Only line I had to wait is the UPS hub pick up line. Most of them are direct Apple.com orders (easily tell by the box), but AFAIK I was the only VZW pick up.

But yes, in and out the hub in 10 minutes.

Tonight: Go to the Pasadena store and pick up a leather case, and watch others drool lol.

Mine went great. Picked up 2 6 Plus's at UPS this morning. Activated my husband's and dropped it off to him where he works. Then came home and activated mine. I don't know how I ever lived without this big, beautiful screen.

My experience was pretty good. Would have been great if we got free food, but oh well. I got to my local Verizon Corp store at 6:15 AM and was 5th in line. Thankfully, a few folks in front of me were there for the 6, so i was able to score a 6+ 64GB. I think i got the last one because any one behind me didn't get a 6+. Loving it so far. Need to get reaqueanited with iOS apps.

My Verizon store passed out those gold fish crackers

Horrendous. Waited for 13 hours and no phone.

Camped out overnight, got into the mall 47th in line, Apple Store opens at 8AM and... NOTHING. The server crashes had made it almost impossible for them to do anything other than fulfill preorders. Two hours after the store had opened, a large group of protesters showed up and shouted stuff for about ten minutes. Finally got into the store at 10:30, had my iPhone 6+ in hand AND...

AT&T never got notice that I'd cancelled my earlier preorder. I was not able to upgrade and wasn't going to buy the phone outright.

I left empty handed and quite livid.
