How will you feel if Iphone 4S successor looks the same?

Judging by the recent release of the new Ipad, iPhone 5 (or 4Gs:D) would have the same spec anyway, Apple A5x, Improved Siri, 1gb Ram, 16-32-64 version, 4g LTE, 12MP camera I guess:rolleyes:

This is the only mock up i've liked and would be spot on.

If they look the same, then its crap. Don't bother introducing a so called new phone. In fact, tell us now that it will look the same so we can end the rumors and wait until 2013 after the Android phones progress with 18 newer models.

For those who think Apple won't change the new iPhone

The 6th gen of the classic iPod introduced the iPod touch. Completely redesigned and with a larger screen. There was little reason to do this as the iPods before it all sold well. The new iPhone will be the 6th gen, will Apple be changing its look and size too?

Not the iPod touch...Maybe they do like they did with the iPod 6th gen, release two models. An iPhone with the same size screen and a new one with a larger screen. Or they just call it the new iPhone and change it up. Apple is not keeping this same design and size forever.
 
The iPod Touch is not a redesigned iPod Classic. It is a new product all of its own. At best it can be called a redesigned iPhone.
 
Didn't the iPod classic continue to exist in it's current form? the iPod touch was added as a new product, not a redesign of the ipod classic.... So unless you are suggesting Apple is making a new phone while keeping the current iPhone format, then your logic is off.

How do we know! ? Know one here is Mr Cook, so absolutely no one on these forums will ever know until its announced.

I like the mock up shown here on the forum, but would be just as happy with the same as we now have it.. ;)
 
i got a 4s pay as you go, so im guessing itl last me at least 2 years, unless theres a major reason to get the next iphone, for me the only thing that would make me go out of my way to get it as a must have phone is if there was a way to have logic pro and final cut on my iphone... could be rdp or whatever i dont care aslong as i get it, otherwise theres not much appeal to me i already have a good phone and itl stil be good when the new iphone comes out..

There are tens of millions of people that use iOS daily. How many of those people are in this "many" that you have talked to? I think a lot of people read other's views on the internet, and assume that this makes it the majority view, especially when said views coincide with their own...

Exactly, most people would freak out if they changed the look. They like it because of the consistency.

If Apple is dumb enough to release a thicker iPhone, it will be the beginning of the end for the iPhone brand. Samsung and Android will eat them alive.

iPhone 3G was thicker than the original. As long as the phone feels good in my hands, the thickness is more or less irrelevant to me. Ever since the original razr, phones have been thin enough to essentially be imperceptible in one's pocket
