How are you getting 15 hours playing games do you have any special settings? Do u use iCloud music please let me know. That's the type of battery I'm looking for
I don't use iCloud music. And actually it varies on what you do. Of course playing games on your phone won't get you this great battery life. And to be honest, I haven't really touched my phone during the day mainly due to the fact that I work at the front desk.

It seems like Facebook is always at the top of my list when viewing the usage. Today it was on 20% with almost 2.5hrs in the background. I have disabled background refresh and it still seems to be running in the background. Anyone else with this issue I know Facebook has never been an good app on neither Android or iOS.

Yeah I get it too. Close the app when you're done with it to avoid that pesky background activity stuff. FB is getting worse by the update, the last but one was actually pretty good for battery life.

Sheesh I was hoping I didnt have to close it out everything I finish using it. I will try that and see what happens. I haven't been getting the best battery life but I haven't drained it and charged it all the way back up yet. Might give that a try.

This is regular 6S. New phone taken out of box -> restore from 6 Plus back up -> charge to 100% -> start using.
That is amazing. I mentioned before I had a new 6s great battery but dead pixel. New phone great screen I'm at 5hrs usage and 17% battery. Frustrated.

This is what I currently have. Think iOS 9.0.2 is eating my battery too.

I agree and FB is the only app that I force close when I'm done.

This after a couple of days of light use:

What do y'all think?

Edit:
It's a 6S+ and I'm still running 9.0 (whatever comes out of the box..have resisted the urge to update the OS :p)

This is my 6s Plus. Casual browsing during the day. I also have an Apple Watch. Hard to say how much difference that makes. Highly unimpressed.

I found that my 6+ battery life tailed off a bit after a couple of iOS8 updates. Bloody frustrating but thanks for the heads up, I might just stay on 9.0.1

For what it's worth I updated mine to 9.1 beta 3 and battery life actually increased pretty significantly. Others are reporting a similar increase on 9.1. I actually read a post saying that 9.1 is what 9.0 should've been and I really couldn't agree more. It's smoother, less buggy, and battery life is much better than 9.0.x.

Been fantastic so far after I Reset All Settings after iCloud restore on my 6S. Haven't used much today as you can see, but I got about 17 hours standby with heavy usage on LTE yesterday.

Phone was awesome yesterday, ending the day with 20% despite being put through its paces.

Battery life was been pretty poor today though, with my phone dipping to under 70% by 9 am even though I haven't exactly used it for anything. Will continue to monitor. Running iOS 9.0.2 if it helps.

I'm getting more and more disappointed with battery life. 9.0.2 iPhone 6s Plus. Low brightness, just browsing and some Bluetooth audio.

I wonder if the new always-on Hey Siri functionality is part of the issue?

Thats about around to what I am getting. I think I read where they said the the Siri always on feature doesn't burn any extra battery life. I am going to try to let the device drain all the way down until it turns off and then charge it back up completely and see if that helps any.

I never use Siri so have it switched off. I also have background app refresh off and the system portion of location services toggled off. As a result I'm getting at least the battery life my 6+ gave me.
*BTW I had all those things switched off on my 6+ too.

Yeah this is making me crazy. I'm going to run the battery down tonight and then do a full charge. Otherwise I'm going to get a new phone if this doesn't double my battery life.

Hmm yeah that's pretty bad for the Plus. I'm at 7 hours of usage with 18 hours of standby and still have 40% left. That's with dark sky location on 24/7 (so the GPS icon never goes away) and always-on Hey Siri on as well. Maybe try doing a Reset All Settings?

I might do that tonight before my phone dies. I can't even recall running out of battery with my 6 Plus so I'm very disappointed with the 6s Plus.
