Except low power mode doesn't limit anything I do on my phone, just like driving a sports car because you don't need to over 40mph because 40mph is the speed limit.

I can test again without low power mode if you really wanted. Sure low power mode greatly extends the battery life... THAT'S THE POINT. If it doesn't limit what I use my phone for I'd be silly not to take advantage of it.

Disables background app refresh - most people disable this by default because of the battery drain
Disables Siri - if have a use for a personal assistant, Google Now is better
Disables mail fetch - I don't need real time mail alerts... just check it manually
Disables automatic downloads - have it disabled anyways to save my data
Disables some visual effects - who would trade "fancy" animations for battery life
Caps CPU and GPU usage at ~60% max - even in games I don't notice any performance loss so...
That all true, but the comparison to others who aren't constantly using LPM wouldn't really be an apples to apples comparison then. Not to mention that using airplane mode consistently provides quite a bit more battery savings as well (on top of minimum brightness all the time). That is why getting higher numbers than many others isn't all that odd when all that is accounted for.

6s+ Samsung chip .. Again around 2.5 hours with music steaming.. Thus it again proves that the battery life depends a lot on apps used.. Doesn't matter a lot with a chip.. Maybe or maybe not a tsmc chip phone might have given a battery left status of 42 or 44% but again I don't know as I haven't tested both in similar conditions

View attachment 598545 View attachment 598544 Normal usage; no low power mode; ~6.25 days since last charge; Bluetooth constantly on; brightness ~ 40-50%; used 3D Touch for mails, calls with the actuator vibrating frequently (these are not obvious in the battery usage screen)

As much as I'd like to wait even further until my battery dies (easily could last 24 more hours), I have to place ton of work calls tomorrow. So going to charge it now :)

But 1 charge/wk at best for my usage, 2-3/wk on little above average use for me - No Matter how you slice it, this phone is a beast and makes me happy to think that I can keep it for years with a great battery life since the charging cycles are down by 60-70% compared to my iPhone 6 which I charged every other day at best.

how do you get so much battery? mine gets to like 45-50hr standby at the most and i have the large every 2 days

My iPhone 5s experience: charge once a day. Use it a lot for timelapse & videos, etc? Charge twice a day.
My iPhone 6sPlus experience: charge once every other day. Use it a lot for timelapse & videos, etc? Charge once every other day, sometimes on the same day before going to bed.

My phone's on me -constantly-, it's my social life, my gps, my very-bad-eyes-support travel partner, and my laptop in the backpack replacement. I take pictures constantly, I edit them, I use iMovie a lot lately, etc. It's not idle on my pocket, and I leave the house or start the mornings with 100% and use low power mode if I know I am not waiting for anything important, or am just doing timelapses, etc. I go to bed with 35% left, and the next day I can use that throughout the day. Sometimes I am just more busy, and it drains to 10% and I charge it, but usually it will make it to the evening and I go to sleep and charge it in the morning before leaving or starting the day again. It's got no problems idling with 5% left through the night. Something the 5s couldn't be trusted with after a year.

So far, so good. I easily get 15+ hours out of it, I usually average around 20, and it's idle on low power mode when I am asleep.

Just purchased iPhone 6S Space Gray, Samsung chip.

Was a little bummed out I got a Samsung chip, hearing all the reports, but quite honestly, very impressed with this battery life on a non-plus model.

Mostly on WiFi about 80% of the time, 30% brightness.

I think I'm going to keep this. I've tend to get a bit OCD about my phones, but honestly I can't see a TSMC chip getting much better then this, aside from that, my 6S is a great model. Perfectly even white screen with firm sturdy buttons.

Very first charge cycle too, I'm sure the battery will settle in and get even better.

So you're not experiencing the creakgate and the stuckgate?

I have quite satisfactory battery life on my two week 6s+ Samsung chip, but after 7 cycles coconut already says that I have 99.8 battery health and 98.4 charge or something like that. On my 6 month 6+ I had battery health 100% with the same care.

My last day of replacement window today. Go for it?

This was half LTE and the rest WIFI. I am using shamesung chip.

6s battery is worse than the 6 for sure. About 5s like for real world use.
About 10% better than the 5s at most.
In no way shape or form is the 6s an all day battery.

Oh mine would sometimes last all day. It even lasted over 24 when I was home and on wifi.
It very often has to do with the kind of reception you're getting. If your phone has to struggle to maintain a signal then yeah it will cause it to use up a lot of power.
The "acid test" for my phones has always been how it does in the subway. And yes, it would drop close to 10% there if I pushed it by trying to use the browser. But apart from those kinds of situations, I would leave my car at the Metro station with the phone fully charged and I'd plug in at night when in went to bed.
And I use my phone consistently through the day.

Sure thing. Here's a pricing list from the official retailers (the nonofficial mobile shops are selling the iPhones for app. 150-190 euros cheaper but they also import the phones from Verizon-USA)

Prices from iStyle.mk:
iPhone 6 -> 680 euros (16 GB) / 800 euros (64 GB) / 908 euros (128 GB)
iPhone 6 plus -> 800 euros (16 GB) / 908 euros (64 GB) / 1006 euros (128 GB)

iPhone 6s -> 780 euros (16 GB) / 905 euros (64 GB) / 1006 euros (128 GB)
iPhone 6s plus -> 900 euros (16 GB) / 1006 euros (64 GB) / 1120 euros (128 GB)

We have 4G for every mobile network here for 2 years now :)

it's nearly 150-200 euro cheaper than here. but the government wont let us to use a mobile phone imported outside turkey, so we must register the IMEI number to our passport in 120 days. and that cost 30 euro :)

but in every case,it's cheaper,i see that. thank you for the information

i visit macedonia 4 years ago and it was 3G, but i was near to greece border and the network was switching between one and cosmote :)
