Have you noticed which apps use the most battery, especially when you are not on them, i.e. Facebook as a for instance. The battery life has deteriorated after a month for me. I used to get 7-8 hours of usage time, which I was extremely happy with. Now, the usage is at 4:30 hours and my battery is at 30%. Is there anything I should change to extend it? I am not a big fan of the low power mode.
P.S. My usage has been pretty much the same all throughout.
Had to replace my tsmc and now stuck with a Samsung. So basically, does Samsung perform better but tsmc runs cooler and has batter battery life in heavy usage. Does that sum it up?
I would say just ignore all the differences. Any which ways Apple is not going to replace your phone based on the chip it carries and more than 50% of the phones sold have Samsung chip.Actually, the TSMC chip has performed better in benchmarks as well. It's pretty much superior in every way, though how superior is up for debate and further testing of course.
This is the first 100 to 1% round for my new TSMC. Seems to be about average regardless of chip. I'm sure this will vary by an hour in either direction depending on my usage. Either way, I'm very pleased!

Yes. Sorry I left that out. 6s Plus. I'll update that post to clarify.6s plus?
The usage stats are very uneven.. Do you use the phone consistently in a similar fashion or did you use more of battery intensive apps when your usage is showing lower..I got my phone (6s) on launch day and after a few days with it I thought I would keep a record of charging. It has the TSMC chip. I am retired and I don't use the phone intensively, tend to run down the battery and don't use social media. It replaced a Nokia Lumia 820 and the iphone is way better in every respect.
I find the battery life to be excellent and it has exceeded my expectations.
iPhone battery record: Usually phone switched off overnight.

I know it is a bit geeky but thought it may be of interest!
First off if you hit the little clock button to right of seven day button you will get reported onscreen vs standby times for each ap. Tumbler may be one of those apps working your radios hard in standby. It could also be an app that is hung up close it remove it and re download it. You may also want to hard boot your phone, power and home button same time till Apple appears.I'm trying to figure out why Tumblr uses 50% of my battery...That's ridiculous. And I'm wondering if I use it in Safari if it will use less battery.
