Apple's external legal counsel is salivating right now. $$$
Win or lose, they still make bank.

Because Apple made a phone with aluminum chamfers (which nobody did before 9/2012) and 6 months later HTC does it too? I remember when they were both flagships, and the only thing about the One M7 that was substantially different from the 5's material use was its cheap plastic band in the sides. Lol. "All metal!"Again, the 5 and the M7 look NOTHING alike, if you honestly believe they do, get your eyes checked.
Protruding circular camera.Guys..guys. Come on. They iterated on their own design.
HTC introduced metal phone with plastic antenna strips when Apple had the iPhone 4s.

All they've done here is round the edges more and dropped the front speakers.
But those chamfered edge though?I think people are forgetting HTC had the lines first

What $$$? This is not Samsung. I see HTC going out of business which would benefit Samsung; not Apple. HTC literally has nothing to lose except it's pride at this point.Apple's external legal counsel is salivating right now. $$$

. . . . and people think Apple doesn't influence the smartphone industry.
Lol.
Grow up a little and stop calling them Samesung, makes you look childish.Yep pretty much lol
Spoiler: They are waiting for the A10 Chip to launch the HTC A10 which will be split between TSMC and Samesung lol
Simple Samesung will copy both in a desperate attempt to get rid of HTC as competition and take some Apple profits
I selected the Garnet red unlocked version and it lists 3GB RAM, 32GB storage for $399. Maybe only the unlocked versions are the second configuration?
Hmm. The HTC One A9 actually seems much more similar to the HTC One M9, which is almost identical to the HTC One M8, which is a lookalike of the One M7. Here's an image of all four:

Is HTC really ripping off Apple here? It seems like they've been making this sort of design for many many years now...
The HTC One A9 is an evolution of HTC's previous designs and it's now reached the point where it seems very similar to the iPhone 6 design. It may have been coincidental, but I'm also guessing HTC may have designed the One A9 with the iPhone 6 in mind.
Anyways, does anyone not see the similarity on the front to the Samsung Galaxy and Note series phones?

I'm not digging HTC's design on this one. I think HTC's original HTC One was the best designed phone at the time and to this day it still is one of the best looking phones that exist. It was premium, sleek and high quality. It's a shame they went from that to this. It no longer feels premium anymore and just seems like a confused phone that looks like a cross between the iPhone 6 on the rear and a Samsung Galaxy on the front. A shame since I really like HTC as a company and wanted them to release a killer phone.
