Which version (wi-fi only, AT&T or Verizon)? What size and capacity?
I ordered a black Verizon 32gb. Verizon was all that they had today.

I think most are surprising at the sales of the iPad2
I didnt see anyone on this forum saying that demand would be this high for the iPad 2 before it was released and it is obvious that Apple under-estimated the demand.
You're right on this. I never expected this high demand.

Thanks!
I'm not surprised. It seems like availability goes in this order: Verizon, AT&T, wi-fi only. I'm guessing that 64 gig 3G SKUs are probably are more readily available too, due to high cost.
I think it has a lot to do with the many people who opted out and waited for the second version as well as people who are upgrading.
how long did the frenzy for the original iPad last?? I remember I got one of those 3 days after launch and had it delivered in about 4 days..
Can't you do the thing where you can check after 9PM on the Apple website to reserve one at your nearest Apple store to pick up the next day or is that just for the UK?
I too cannot believe the demand. I am in NYC tonight for work and stopped by the 5th Avenue store. At 11:30pm the line was already 100 long for whatever goes on sale at 8 am tomorrow. That to me is insane. Supposedly tihis line was on the shorter side too. It looked to me like most in line were resellers.
we have that in Canada as well and my store always has a really good selection each night. (already have mine, but looking for one for a friend)...
Is the U.S. really missing out on this awesome system?!

In the past we've been able to reserve debuting products online for in store pick up and it's worked like a charm, but for some inexplicable reason, that wasn't offered with iPad 2.we have that in Canada as well and my store always has a really good selection each night.
