you're exactly right. most of these people would not say this stuff in real life. they have huge balls behind their mac computers!

I hope you realize that the tattoo artist made fun of you with his co-workers after you left.
so... the majority of Apple fans have Apple tattoos... is what you're saying?
& I really could care less about some dumb ass movie. hahaha
What would some of you do if you met iVanessa physically?
I don't mean to bash her, it's her body and her choice, but there's no such thing as a 'smart tattoo'. That's the beauty of tattoos, they're meant to be art, they serve no function except expression.

To be honest, as with any girl I meet, what I would do would really depend on how good looking she is.
Depends, if she asks me what I think of her Apple tattoo ? I'd tell her the same thing I said in this thread "I think it looks like you like being a corporate drone, maybe not the best choice of ink and while I wouldn't ever submit myself to becoming a billboard for some faceless corporation, whatever floats your boat". If she doesn't ask about her tattoo, I wouldn't comment on it.
That's really the thing here. When you open a thread about a topic, people respond about that particular topic. She specifically talked about her tattoo. As such, she'll receive positive and negative responses. That's just how discussions go with more than 2 people, there will be more than 2 opinions.
Then you've given an honest comment about what you actually think of the tattoo in a considered manner without attempting to be outright offensive.
I'd still hire her.
ha, HOW SO? who are YOU to say I don't have "class" because I have a tattoo on my hand?! that's pretty damn ignorant.
Note that his tattoos are hidden at work. Looks a lot different when he has hand and face tattoos:

Matters not. Just because one (she) has a tattoo on one's hand, does not mean one's "less than qualified" than anyone else without a tattoo.
I'd personally hire the one with the most experience in any given field and if this one happens to have a tattoo on hand... so be it.
Depends what her reply to my comment would be, it could very much devolve in real life just like on the Internet. If she replied something snarky, I can get downright nasty about it
But that's all speculative. People in real life don't just walk up to strangers and start asking them about stuff or showing off stuff like people do on forums. That's the point really. No one walks into a mall food court and screams "I GOT AN APPLE TATTOO!"
I bet the responses would be pretty much the same there (a few positives, a few negatives, a few nasty responses, mostly indifference and the Knight in Shining armor trying to defend the maiden but never getting sex out of it).
If there were 2 equally or similarly qualified ones I'd got for the tattooless one. I have nothing against tattoos, it's about company image and who a customer would rather deal with.
I agree with all 3 statements until the 'defending the maiden' bit.
It's an easy thing to sit behind a keyboard and pick out a victim and then sit back and watch it unfold, opinions on Apple tattoo's or not.
Why do you assume the customers would want to deal with the tattooless one? What if the one with a tattoo is smarter and can do more for your company in the long run? I personally love tattoos, and the only reason i'm against the OP is because she got a corporate logo in a trashy/stupid spot. But even so, people shouldn't be judged for tats.
What were you thinking? Do you eat McDonalds?
Why not get the golden arches across your back while you're at it?
You took that bit too seriously, it was a joke in reference to post #70, which I found quite funny.![]()
And what were you thinking??
Do you know how many tramp stamps you just launched with that idea???

You got a tattoo of the Apple logo?

Sorry, but that was, to put it mildly, not a good idea. I would immediately look into getting it removed.
