I have a feeling the 2011 refresh is gonna happen sooner than later...

exactly, its not a refresh. thank you its a simple add on choice for small number of product specs in order to show apple still knows they have the macbook pro as a product ha. i say within 3 weeks

But I have always been the type of guy that believes in shaping his own destiny and not letting myself be a slave to fate.

Anything can happen if you just believe and think positive thoughts.

Does anyone know of any rumored Apple events or booked event venues coming up in the next few weeks? Cmon let's make this happen guys!
 
i dont see an event for the mbp refresh. likely just online site down. only event coming up is a joint apple/ robert murdoch event for the stupid news paper for ipad. who cares? thats two events apple has participated/ will participate in so far this year , however joint events, with the prime focus on the other presenter. ie, verizon, murdoch

It's above the average, but that doesn't mean that it's the longest it has ever been since an update; the Mid 2010 models were released nine months after the Mid 2009 models were.

If you can't wait, just buy now. Otherwise wait. Getting blueballs because you can't play the newest WoW expansion well enough on a portable Mac is nowhere near optimal.

It won't be much earlier if it is earlier at all. Apple doesn't have THAT much of an advanced lead on these things. Certainly no more than any other laptop manufacturer that has already announced THEIR Sandy Bridge machines.

I can surely wait. I am an owner of the 2.66 13" inch machine so I can definately cut it. It's just mostly when I see music production videos they have the 15" and I myself being a music producer I want to come off as legit with a 15." Also for the WoW experience. I will be getting the 750 Scorpio Black and max ram. I can surely wait, but I don't want to wait.

I just have this lucky feeling it will be February.
 
God i love these stupid threads.

You know sandy bridge isnt coming before late febuary on the mobile/laptop platform right? So you wont see a mbp before late febuary at the earliest, more likely to see it around march/april.

So because they use a 15" in a production video you have to buy one? Ha, you really have too much money...
 
No more Mac computers... it's all iPhones and iPads going forward. It fits with the iApple business model. ;) How else can you explain the obvious neglect to the Pro-line of products?
