I have yet to see another person wear the Ultra when out in public

I find it pretty attractive when females wear huge watches. Dunno why.

So when the AWU first came out and after seeing pictures I thought it looked cool enough but not for me, too big. I was still wearing my AW S4 and due for an upgrade. My wife has the AW S7 and I’ve been jealous of the always on display. We went to the Apple Store this past Saturday to upgrade my wife’s phone to the new 14Pro and I thought I,d pick up the series 8 AW While there. After seeing the AWU in person I had to get it. I love it! I have small wrists and don’t think it looks too big. I used to wear and have always been a fan of large dive watches but for the last 5 years have been wearing Apple Watches. I did keep and am still going to wear my S4 when it’s the right situation.
All that being said the only one I’ve seen in the wild was when I went to the eye doctor a couple of months ago one of the doctors was wearing one. I didn’t get a close look at it though. Everyone of the guys working at the Apple Store was wearing one.

I haven't seen many. But I am going to take the plunge. This is crazy, but I found a version of my current watch (Series 7 green) on sale at Target, new. I am buying that, putting AppleCare on it (I want to keep it for a while as I don't see green coming back). And I am trading in my current Series 7 for the AW Ultra. I have a Series 6 SS that I will upgrade to Series 9 (maybe I will even get the 41 mm!)
I rarely see other people’s watches in the winter as everyone is wearing long sleeve. Even then, who looks at specific model details?
There are lots of people who notice what brand and type watch other people are wearing as it's something that interests them. Some people notice what kind of shoes people wear or the type of jacket they have on. You are obviously not one of those people and are not the target audience for this question or thread.
That is partially true. But my point was also about it being winter where many of us are and our watches are mostly hidden by sleeves when we are out and about/.
For what it’s worth, I am currently in Las Vegas for a conference and I have seen at least 15 people wearing an Ultra over the last 2 days. I’m sure I’m in the minority here, but I am one that does notice what watches people are wearing.
I've seen a few in the wild. My S4 LTE was still working fine but I picked one up at worst buy this weekend. Its a pretty nice watch but it costs the same as a Mac..
Too expensive to justify unless you’re swimming in cash. If you’re rich, have at it.
I don't know if it's cus I live in a city, or what but I see the ultra when im out left and right. It's quickly become one of the more popular watches around here. I probably see about 10/15 new ones a day... I feel like if the watch wasn't so big more people would go with the ultra.
Yes, this goes to show that we should be wary of assuming our own experience is really typical.
As far as nice watches go a ultra isn’t that expensive
Compared to watches at Walmart or something, yeah it’s pricey
Well demographics, SFO, outside from the large bum population, has a abnormal high tech and cash ratio, but is very different demographic compared to the majority of the US
