I love the Solo FX Case

? leather case for phone with Solo on it
I have been using my Solo Fx knockoff in green (from kblword) and am very happy with it. I don't have the original Solo to compare it to but it fits perfectly with my crystal power anti-glare screen protector, the holes are cut perfectly, it has a great feel and for $5 to the door and only about 5 days to reach me in Canada I'm a very happy customer!
But, I have one question:
I like to wear my iPhone 3GS in a leather holster on my belt. But when I pull it out I still want it protected--hence the 'Solo' case. I don't want to pull out a naked phone in case I drop it.
What leather cases would fit the phone with the 'Solo' on it? Particularly, does anyone know of an eBay case that might work?

PS: don't be afraid to buy the kblworld case. why pay $30 for a piece of silicone.

So I just got my purple solo fx today (thanks again to those who posted pics of it for me!!). I currently have a bodyguardz back on my phone and I'm having trouble fitting the solo fx over it. Does the case just need to stretch out a little or will it really not fit??

I'm not sure about bodyguardz but I paired mine with a Zagg Invisible Shield and it worked out perfectly.
I usually start from the bottom and then pull the top up and over. Eventually the Iskin will give just a bit but just message it in place and you should be good.
Bodyguardz are actually a tad thinner than Best Skins EVer and Invisible Shields so it should go on without issue. Just work it in place but be careful to pull the case over otherewise you will catch your skin and pull it off. Like I said, in time the case does stretch ever so slightly and will fit right in place. Now I just take mine off and on with ease without even having to message it into place.
OK, thanks. But if i take the skin off will the case be too stretched out after using it with the bodyguardz?
No. It's very slight, you won't even notice it. In fact it will fit the phone better and move into place better after it is worn a bit.
Just a FYI, if any of you guys are interested in the "Nightcrawler Blue" it is really a darker shade of purple. Thankfully my wife loved it so it is now hers. I still think glossy black looks great. Just make sure you put tape or something on the bezel if you're not using a skin because this case (like every case I've tried except the candyshell) will scratch your bezel if your phone is naked.
Green stains too...
I'm starting to see a bit of staining on the edges of my BSE simple back skin from the green solo fx. It's not too bad though... I still love the case, the blue solo fx especially! Looks really nice over white.
I'm going to be replacing the simple back soon and the screen protector, thanks to a different case mishap anyway. I'm glad only the skin suffered the damage!

I have two questions about the Solo just for clarification.
1. I'm probably gonna buy a knock-off Solo FX in clear or grey/black. Will the black leave stains on my Bodyguardz (which is supposed to fit according to most people)?
2. Also, just in general, is the case "strong" and like a hard plastic?

I ordered it 3 days ago. You can just search for them. If you live in the States then you can get a pretty good price on them. But I live in Canada and had to order from an american site. I dunno if i'm allowed to post it. But I made the mistake without checking my fellow Canadian stores first because apparently we have them. Which is weird cause we never get the cool stuff that I always want and have to get them from the states.
Try wiping the skin down with some rubbing alcohol... It might work
So it's not just the red one, so as green and blue, interesting. I'm thinking of selling my used red one because of those stain issues, I can't always afford to buy a new skin, painfully install it, then get ruined by a case
Same as to what I said above, I'd try some rubbing alcohol or something along those items to clean it off. I'm sure it'll come off.
Finally got my purple fx today! Man is it pretty. I've got it on my white 3gs and it looks awesome. For the time being, until I can get to the apple store and get a power support film, I'm using the supplied reflective screen protector. It's a fingerprint magnet and sux in certain lights, but it is handy if you need to do your makeup. lol.

You got a screen shield?? I paid $5.20 for just the black case
haha whatever. That video comparison by that chick was really good though, really helped me decide.
