I Ordered My Retina iMac High End What did you get?

Anybody actually seen the thing live? I went today to the Apple flagship store on 5th Avenue to have a look - and they didn't have one on display. If I have time I'll check the GC store later today on way home but probably they wont have it then either...

Not quite everyone...Mine says "updated" to the 27th, but I guess that is because it needs to make the extra hop to Canada. Even though I live closer to Shanghai than most of you :D Probably should have upgraded the shipping, but oh well.

Where's the option of the VESA mount, for the 27" retina iMac? I saw someone had an order like that?

Yup, I'm Wednesday too. My delivery time is "by 10:30 AM", and I'm on the East Coast so if they keep to that timeline then I should be in good shape!

Fingers crossed. Going to read that TechCrunch review now to stoke the fires even more... :)
 
Delivery Friday 24th OCT from China to Melbourne Australia.
i5 2GB GPU 8GB Ram 256SSD
32GB crucial ram on its way from Amazon USA as well.
Entry level model which means I can give you guys a nice review of its performance; extrapolate for higher specification machines.

I got the Vesa mount too, because I'm already using a two-monitor arm. I did hesitate for the iMac, because who knows what my setup will be a few years down the line. But then I went with Vesa because the stand doesn't allow for vertical adjustment, and that just sucks.
 
the unit that ifixit teared down showed "Assembled in USA", maybe they got a prototype or something...
