I Ordered My Retina iMac High End What did you get?

Fedex came to deliver today but of course I was at work. The 1 day I WANT them to came late...might goto the fedex facility and pick it up after 7:30..can't wait till tomorrow knowing it's here lol

Came 2 days early for reference..
 
The day mine is due I'm going to keep bucket in my office so I don't need to go upstairs to the loo in case I miss my delivery.

I'm not taking any chances!
 
Haha..it wasn't suppose to come till Wednesday and I got the text after I was already at work

Otherwise I would have stayed home
 
Mine is due next Monday but I'm hoping that it will be here Friday so I have the weekend to play with it and get it set up ready to use for work.

My bf is hoping the same, he reckons I'll be unbearable to be around if it's not here for the weekend :p

Apple still says Wednesday, but the UPS estimate has slipped to Friday. It looks like they're getting them out the door indiscriminately.
 
It arrived this morning. I'm brand new to mac so I have no idea what I'm doing but I have built PC's for the last 10 years so Im a quick learn.

I tried using the cool imac desktop usb 3.0 stand but I can't get the usb3's to work right with the supplied usb3 to micro cable :(

I just set up my stand with my new imac and I can't get the usb3 ports to work on the front with the supplied mini usb to usb3 cable, did yours work ? I can get power to it but thats it

That sucks to bad !!! I haven't had trouble waiting for something so badly since I ordered my BMW from germany. I watched the ship on ship tracker etc crazy I know...

My high school photography teacher is actually the creator of the Space Bar so I have an original version with only USB 2.0 because he gave it to me for free. So I'm not much help. :/ sorry! I'm only using mine for a stand though so I can push my keyboard and trackpad underneath because my desk is so tiny.

My iMac has arrived! :apple:

Unfortunately I'm still at work, and there's a staff meeting at 4:30 so I can't take the rest of the day off. Still, in about an hour's time I will be home to check it out. :D

Mine shipped Friday but today's update states that they were unable to load the package on the plane as scheduled.

Now any delivery estimates have been removed. UK based order.

Still no change for mine and it still says exception with no delivery date. No info on what the exception is

Love it! Spent all day setting up my apps and playing with it. As soon as the Fedex truck showed up I was out to greet the driver who said "I have an Apple for you." I laughed and said "I have been waiting a month for this box."

First thing, I installed my 32GB of RAM and fired it up. Wow! Amazing screen.

Not having used a Mac in 16 years I noticed a few changes:)

Still some things from System 7 seem to be there. Anyways I hope you get yours soon and can have some fun!
 
I am happy for you guys. For me it's still the roller coaster:

When I checked the status this morning, I had the same "Exception" and my delivery date moved to friday. Now the status changed to "Clearance Completed" and the delivery date moved back to thursday (destination germany)
