It really is tatty, I've gone for an all round refresh seeing as this is my first mac desktop.

Mine isn't too bad either. i7, 16gb ram, 500gb ssd etc etc but I'll sell it all once I've settled into the mac (well, if any of it is left after my bf and son have finished nicking bits for their rigs).
I wanted a fresh start too.
respect that is some kit, i feel inferior now

Well the UPS status (what site am I going to be constantly refreshing when it's here?!?) says its in transit and due with me by the end of the day...
However it's not out for delivery yet and left Korea this morning (despite UPS telling me over the phone that it was in the UK yesterday).
Somehow I doubt I'll be seeing this today

The same here...Got email updates as well one said by end of wednesday then about 30 mins later by end of Friday. Friday seems more realistic. That i can live with

I could live with Friday.... though being told by the guy on the phone that it was in the UK and I'd see it by tomorrow is more than annoying, feels like I was lied to just to get me off the phone.
Agreed had the same feeling. I think it depends what screen they look at
, because on the normal ups tracking site, like you, I am showing Wednesday but when i look on UPS MY Choices it is showing in my planner for Friday.

Hmm, Friday would actually be a pain for me... I'm in Wales for the day so no chance of me being in to sign for it.

I think you can... You never know the delivery might actually be Thursday. By my reckoning mine left Korea at 12.37 local so should be in the UK by about 3 our time. So assuming it clears or has been cleared customs
then they should be able to get it to the local depot for the morning run on Thursday. This may be me over thinking it and being incredibly sadI think you can... That's assuming it comes to the UK straight from Korea... could be a few more stops on the way in Europe first?

I know mine is swinging it's way past a distribution centre in the Netherlands to meet up with the other part of my order before heading it's way to me.
Ah, could have been Holland mine went to rather than Germany. That said when I had that it was the back to school promo they had with the free iPod and printer. I guess that's a similar to adding the thunderbolt cable to your order so could take a different path.

I didn't but I have been lucky enough to be given daily updates on the whereabouts of one.
It does feel similar to that - especially when seeing it was in Korea this morning I realised it was further away from home than when it was being assembled in the factory!
