I've played with the trackpad settings and I'm going to give it a go. The mouse is too flat for my liking and now I'v changed some settings the trackpad feels a bit better.
I've paid good money for it so I may as well use it

Problem solved, set up the track pad for single tap for left click and two finger tap for right click and it works like a dream, might keep using this now. Just ordered a twelve South bar thingy to keep the track pad and keyboard together as one unit
Now that would work kind of how I was thinking with a trackpad where the number keys are on a full size keyboard.
Yeah the mouse isn't the most ergonomic by a long stretch but it should do. One gesture I do miss is pinch to zoom in/out. I seem to use that quite a bit on the macbook without actually realising.

OK, now know I have a fan. I was playing the beta of the new settlers game and the fan kicked in. Hopefully it's just because it's a beta and not yet been fully tweaked rather than my mac struggling

I ordered mine on the 15th November, and it still says processing too... I'm hoping it'll change any day now.
What specs did you guys get? I ordered M290X, 8GB ram, 3TB Fusion, w/ Core i7. Expedited Shipping.

Was yours ordered through the Apple Business program? The AB salesperson told me that shipping is faster through them as they have a larger inventory of reserved items.

I don't like the Apple keyboard or mouse or trackpad.
I use a Mionix gaming mouse and just ordered a WASD mechanical keyboard customized with MX Cherry Brown switches and Mac keyboard layout. Also, use a Wacom Intuos Pro Medium tablet.
Mechanical "clicky" keyboards are the best. You can get one here:

What is really cool about WASD is you can customize the keyboard anyway you like. Later on, if you want to change it you can buy different color keys or design your own and they will make them for you!

Mine also says delivery by Dec 9-15th and I ordered on Nov 15th, yet it still says processing... I hope there's a change by the weekend.
Each to their own and all that. I've always preferred flatter, laptop style, keyboards.
