Just ordered these. I noticed a small micro scratch yesterday and didn’t want to deal with the screen getting beat up. I didn’t get the 2.5D version and it should work with my Apple leather case according to some videos I watched.

SMH everyone says they installed this but out of 48 post no damn pics

Literally nothing to see. I looked very closely after installing and cannot even tell the is anything on it. This is in contrast to other screen protectors I have used where you can always see an edge. I am very impressed.

Response back:

"This one is our new packaging"

So I guess there is no difference between them.
At least their packaging is closer to the mark of what their actual product looks like....Though the indent in the black border just above the speaker hole still isn't right.

Just installed the iCarez screen protector. It took much longer than I expected and I had a very difficult time getting all the bubbles out. I also hurt my fingernails pretty badly with constant lifting of the screen protector off the screen to push out the bubbles underneath the glass. I'm satisfied with the product - it looks and feel great.

I had a Spigen GLAS protector on my iPhone XS, and the iCarez protector on my XS Max feels and looks exactly the same. I honestly can't tell the difference, aside from the packaging and installation tray.

There's not much to see. Are there specific things or angles you are interested in seeing?

I’m curious whether the glass is actually curved to fit around the curved edges of the phone glass, and if not how seamlessly does it match up to the curve?

I’d like to see some really close up pictures of the edge after it’s installed.

Best not to spend too much time trying to get out the bubbles. Raising it up and down brings in more lint and the bubbles go away much so easier the next day. Patience is key.

Yep. Because I’m using the speck gemshell clear case was wondering the coverage of the screen would it work. Pics of it can show a lot when it comes to cases

I didn't know that! It took me a while and my fingertips are sore but I'm glad I was able to get all of the bubbles out. Quite a frustrating ordeal. I imagine this screen protector was harder to install since it was 3D with curved edges, as opposed to other 2D screen protectors I've had in the past with no bubble issues at all.

Lol, I hear you. The first time I put on their 3D I spent hours rubbing out the bubbles, had sore arms for a day or two. Now I buy the 2.5D and no longer stress.

The bubbles go away after a day, you should have just let it sit and it would have been fine.

So I'm curious about something: my icarez 3D top edge is solid above the speaker opening. In photos of the product online it looks like there is a 'cut out' in the edge. What do you all have? How many flavors of the iCarez 3D are there??

Just posted about this in the screen protector thread, but I'm also posting the pictures here in case it's helpful for anyone. Found the install for the iCarez 3D really easy. I'm really satisfied with the end result.

Case on the X is a Caudabe Sheath. I double checked that other people on Amazon had posted reviews noting that the case was compatible before placing an order.

If there's one thing Icarez are bad at it's depicting their product on the packaging.

Last years had the notch cutout on the box when it was fully covered.

They still can't get it right...

At least the actual product seems to be of decent quality.

No cut out here, my top edge is also solid.

Latest official version. What appears to have happened is that they increased the size of the speaker opening, which required them to have the 'cut out' in the top edge.

Posted this in another thread. Thought I’ll post it here too just in case it might be helpful to someone.

Just received the iCarez 2.5D for my XS Max today. Went on without issues using the provided alignment tray. Using it with the Ringke Air case and it fits perfectly. Just a tiny, tiny gap between the edge of the glass and the case. Can’t even tell I have a screen protector on. Loving it so far!

I'm glad you're not having any issues. I've already had refunds for 2 orders, both times the items were damaged on arrival.

I am trying one last time as I had good experience with them in the past for my X.

I had that brand on my X last year. I think it was good although I never dropped my phone. I ended up taking it off though.

If you have the one as pictured with the black edge I noticed that the black edge actually covered part of my screen, minimal but annoyed me.

I have used iCarez since I got my X last year. Without much to compare to other than Zagg with previous phones, I do find the iCarez rather fragile. I have dropped my X and the glass has cracked ( suppose it did its job, sacrifice itself instead of the phone’s screen).

I have also had the iCarez break while my phone is in my pocket and I bend over and the phone binds against my pocket knife.

Again, don’t know if this is quality related, but they are cheap enough that I don’t mind sacrificing them instead of the phone.

They do look great...like just part of the phone. Audacity Find My iPhone Origin Have also found installation to be pretty seamless with no bubbles.
I simply put one on my X and adore it. Initial 3D edge-to-edge defender to attempt, yet it's entirely cool. Truly can't tell there's one on there. I additionally love the establishment plate.

I'm getting the same with my Belkin TemperedCurve (which is even more surprising, as Apple test the Belkins themselves). It's very slight that i've concluded that it's not worth worrying about, but it's not good enough when a product blocks the screen it's designed to protect...

I'd rather go for a screen protector without black borders to minimise the chance of any protrusion by poorly implemented black border thickness...

Bought my wife an XS today and had the Double Defense 3D version ready to go.

I opted not to use the tray, as it was sort of bowed inward on the long sides, and based on the design it really looked like you had to sort of "snap" it onto the phone, which I was not about to do with a $1000 phone with those stainless edges. I just aligned the speakerhole cutout by hand and got an absolutely perfect installation. It took a while to get the bubbles out, but they did come out. It works with an Apple silicone case.

Overall very happy with it.

Thanks for that pic. That case looks like it have a nice lip on it so that glass looks good to go with most cases
