Here's a pic of my perfect install of my XS Max 3D and a Caudabe Lucid Clear. Can't tell it is even there, the protector aligns perfectly with the edge of the case, incredible fit.

The tray is a lot tougher to put on, but it is worth it, you really got to force it on but it is worth it. Can't recommend this screen protector enough.

Can you please post a few more pics of the phone in the lucid clear case? Is it hard to put on and take off? Is it as slippery as their version for the x?

Any links for UK buyers - not on amazon so reputable eBay sellers would be fine

Have had an Icarez 2.5D protector on my X since launch but I’d quite like less rough edges especially along the bottom

It is certainly your choice to not use Amazon, but I do want to say that I've received broken screen protectors and Amazon easily refunded me. I am not sure you'll get that same protection if you purchase via eBay.

sorry - I mean I'd use amazon if possible but Amazon UK don't seem to have them available.

anyone try the tethy's one vs the icarez 3d?
which one has the thinner "black" part of the screen protector?

Also anyone can comment on the "adhesiveness" of the black portions of the SP compared between the two?

At the end of the day, i think they're both the same lol

I'd like to know as well.

I'm using a Tethys I got from amazon - 3 pack for $7.99. It doesn't call itself 2.5d or 3d or 6d or whatever, just says edge to edge. it has a black border. I don't know why people are talking about the black border not having adhesive, it's just basically paint on the underside of the glass, and the entire glass is coated in adhesive.

It went on perfect with the included tray. The opening around the speaker lines up uniformly around it.

Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I'd like it more if it was maybe 0.5mm bigger all the way around. It works quite well with a case, but without a case I can feel the edge more than I would like to, and it's a little sharper than I would like (though by no means "sharp").

I've been seriously considering an icarez 3d to see if it covers any better or is any smoother on the edges. It's really hard to tell if it would be any better without just buying it, which I might have to do at some point.

has anyone noticed any issues with FaceID or degradation of the front facing camera images with the glass face in front of the camera/sensors? thanks!

(i'm happy with a finally well installed MaxBoost protector with its notch, etc.... but the edge to edge installation has me wondering if i should have gone that route...)

None whatsoever.

It's arguable if an edge to edge protects any better than your maxboost style, but for me, it's really about the look more than anything else. I love how you can't even tell it's there.

thanks NYRanger and Paco.

Not at all.

No issues. I don't take a lot of selfies, but the one or two I've taken has looked fine also. Not as good as the back camera, of course, but seems to be optically fine.

Is this the one with the newer packaging for the Xs? Do the black bezels encroach onto the Xs's screen?

Latest official version. What appears to have happened is that they increased the size of the speaker opening, which required them to have the 'cut out' in the top edge.

Any Rhinoshield SolidSuit users here? Curious if it works with the iCarez 3D. I normally use an ultra thin that has no issues, but going to be doing some traveling and want a little drop protection for the trip.

Sharing a picture below of the iCarez 3D fitted on an X with an Incipio Esquire Slim Case. I figured that someone might find it helpful if they're looking at a similar case. The iCarez screen protector is thick enough that the case doesn't offer a face down lip anymore. I'm okay with this, but I realize it'll be a deal breaker for some people.

I also realize that the screen protector is hard to see in the picture, this is how it looks in person. You can really only notice the screen protector is there if you examine the edges or the camera area under a bright light. The black edges seem to be lightly off colored compared to the black used on the edges of the phone itself, but this is also something that is only noticeable in bright light.

This is an important point. My case is very minimalist with a smaller-than-average front lip that easily cleared the old film protector I had on. But the "0.33mm" glass protector (not Icarez, but same thickness) reduced that clearance...not quite to remove face down protection entirely, but to only allow it on the most flat (non-curvature) & clean surfaces with nothing chunkier than a crumb underneath..

Same here. Very pleased with it so far.

Does this work with the leather case from Apple?

I want to purchase the iCarez 3D from Amazon, but with shipping to UK, it'll be around £20 total. So I want to make sure everything fits.
