iPhone 13 iCloud almost full warning forces me to switch to Samsung later

My 4g plan with 120gb data, 10000 minutes call time, voice message is only $40 US dollars per year, yeah per year not per month.

yup.now its unlimited until Google decides to charge people for the limit and yeah thats about it... imagine using 150GB of the "free" limit and then Google limits it to 25GB free...125GB gonna go to waste(well,if they are important stuff)

Right but isn’t the local backup just the same image as the iCloud one? Maybe the app only directs its backups to iCloud? I would think a backup image of the device would have all the app data? But I could be wrong.

well...im sorry to say but i dont understand either.i have never backed up anything from Whatsapp other than the photos and videos. Which is usually saved into the phone.im thinking OP needs the chats backed up,not just media.

I had already turned off backup video too option. It would backup photos in WhatsApp for sure and cannot turn that off.

im from Indonesia...for USD$40 all i get is 80GB with 2000mins(same provider),200mins(different providers) of calls and 2000 sms(all providers).

and its quite pointless to get Unlimited Data in Indonesia as the speed and reception isnt that good.
 
I got 200GB with apple one, I use less than 5. But it was essentially free because I love Apple Music and have Apple TV+. works great for me, no need to complain about anything. but maybe I'll get an account on SamsungRumors and make up a bunch of stuff - because I am evil.

But seriously, If off loading your storage to another cloud service and increasing your storage doesn't do it for you, then there is no solution. Even if you got a Samsung, you would still need storage

I don't buy iCloud storage, I just don't think spending that much money for a phone every year makes sense. Only having like 2gb free for what's app doesn't make sense for me.

It’s 50 gb for a dollar a month isn’t it. If you switch to Samsung don’t you still have to pay for a bigger backup. Lol

Will the overall cost of switching be more than $12?
Because if not there’s a $0.99 option for iCloud. That’s literally $12 per year.
Small price to pay to not have to deal with Android & the litany of security / privacy issues.
Consider that nothing is “free.”

Also, go to Settings -> Backup and make sure you’re not backing up data that you don’t need / want backed up.

I want a bigger screen phone without the pro max weight and price
Let say the coming non pro max 14 is $900
S21 FE is only $460 in my city
I guess the S22 FE “Plus” is like $550 lol
That is like half of non pro max price
