I've never used WhatsApp, but is there a setting to delete messages after a certain period? This could provide an easy storage reduction that operates autonomously. I've hardly been in a situation where I need a text from months/years ago, but that could just be due to limiting important conversations to modes with easier record-keeping.

No, they only provide some basic filter like larger than 5mb pictures

To sum up the OP, he doesn't want to get notified he is getting close to running out of his free 5GB iCloud account and doesn't seem to want to pay for more.

Proposing that you will instead buy an Android phone to solve the storage problem is rather stupid, in my opinion. It makes no sense to complain about spending $12 a year for iCloud and then say yes to an Android phone, which is $400+.

And S22 FE plus will be half price of non pro max

I don't think there is a way to deactive this iCloud almost full warning. It keeps coming up again and again. There is only like 2.5gb left with IOS system backup, I can only keep deleting old big what's app messages and this is more annoying than Android.

S21 FE is only around 460 US dollars in my city now, if big screen version exists for S22 FE with this cheap price range, I will just go back to Android.

I don't buy iCloud storage, I just don't think spending that much money for a phone every year makes sense. Only having like 2gb free for what's app doesn't make sense for me.
lol just because u use up your storage on icloud u wanan switch to Android? stop whining and pay 9$ for 1TB or stop pushing all ur data to icloud smh

It’s pretty cheap to upgrade iCloud to enough storage for a proper backup and general usage. Then you won’t get the warnings. It’s cheap insurance against loss for your photos.

More than 200gb photos, cheap with iCloud?
