I hope they have a camera on the side AND that FaceID is improved to identify faces sideways and upside down as well. Because if you're holding it landscape, your hand may obscure the camera (don't even go to the "you're holding it wrong" space) and/or a camera might be not oriented to see you at a straight up/down point of view.

If I have to orient an iPad - which would then have no visible way to tell which way is "up" - a specific way to log in, I'm going to scream.

Maybe I'm getting old but the icons on that home screen are so tiny they all look the same. And where's the face ID sensor/camera? The thing is just too damn small. What's the point of no bezel if you're going to shrink down the entire iPad to under 1 inch? Oh and the blue wallpaper sucks.

I'd just be happy if they returned to focusing on intuitive UIx cues first and foremost and not being the thinnest device having the flattest least-distracting most grey/white/darkwhitest UI.

I don't think so unless Apple is prepared to charge 2018 MBP 13" prices. You'd be knocking on $2,000 for a 12.9" iPad Pro with case and keyboard

Yeah this. Hopefully the “pro” moniker won’t be synonymous with pricing similar to Wacom’s decades-long entry point for creatives which has teetered at and just above and below the 2K mark.

As someone who mainly uses theirs as a growing-in-importance laptop replacement, I’m -really- hoping I don’t have to shell out for a new form factor ASK, and as an owner of a “maybe Ill recognize you maybe I won’t” iphone X I’m bummed i’ll be probably tapping in a passcode 60% of the time I’m unlocking this thing, no way i’m constantly maneuvering for portrait unlock only.

I wasn’t going to update this year since I brought one last year BUT with this bezel less design, no home button and Face ID I’m already sold and will be buying one. The design from the CAD the other day looks great (corners look like an iPhone SE corners) this will be a new design

Most movies on an Ipad have a huge black bar on the bottom and top, cause the current Ipad or this new one, IS and STILL will not be 16x9 and most movies have an even wider ratio than that. So, there is plenty of "bezel" to hold on (especially considering tumb rejection).

So WTH are you even talking about! Bitching just for the fun of it.
