You know animals have feelings as well, (and I bet many of them are also smarter than all of us) so you should care for the poor cat, how would you like it if someone abused you and you couldn't do anything to stop it.

This kid deserves to be beat just like he did to that cat. I watched most of the video, but I stopped as I just couldn't bear it. Jail isn't going to be enough for this punk, he needs severe punishment for his actions. I am currently e-mailing his mother and let me tell you that the e-mail is very colorful, right now it is about two pages worth of degrading hate. Not towards her as much as her son. I also added him on Myspace and I am hoping that he will accept it. I am a year older than the kid, but I feel like an adult to him.
Not an adult like I care for him, rather much more mature than him and wants him to be punished.

It's just a stupid, useless, impotent animal. It's not a human, and is not comparable to a human.
I'm not saying what he's doing is right, just that I don't care about animals and that they're not humans.
You could be a little more sympathetic. You know, after you say that, from now on people are going to think about you and look at you a lot different.
The kid? Yeah he is, and hopefully he'll straighten out and realize the promise of his potential or at the very least get what's coming to him.
The cat? I don't think anyone is making the argument that it is a human.

That's cool, it's a free world and we're -all- given the ability to make decisions and have opinions.
It's funny, though. I didn't see that cat senselessly inflicting pain and suffering on anyone in that video which tells me that I'd rather live next door to the cat than that POS kid regardless of what taxonomical terminology is used to categorize them.
This is possibly one of the most horrible things that's online, and I only watched up until the point where he grabs the thing by the neck when I realized that I didn't need the images haunting my mind. But a freak like this kid needs some serious help, how could anybody possibly get enjoyment out of this?
He was saying some stuff while torturing the cat, had no idea what it was. XD
I've known about this for over 14 hours, and I can't get it out of my head as to why the hell was going through that kid's head or why he did it. Maybe he was abused when he was younger. Well, he's going to get flamed so much the day he returns to school.
You know what's the biggest difference between that cat and a human? A human has the ability to defend himself, that cat is helpless, it's in pain and scared to death and can't do absolutely anything about it.
Just because he is not a human doesn't mean he doesn't feel pain and fear. He shouldn't have to take this just because some kid think it's fun.
At least my cat is getting something out of this, I can't stop hugging him and petting him ever since I heard about this.
