Is it safe to assume we'll see our beloved 2012 iMac in that event ?
No chance.
Apples priority are highest in iOS mobile territory. Within that arena the iPhone is the star. Nothing will invade this space. It's time to crank up the Apple Hype Machine, run it at full throttle & hope Tim Cook can steer it.
In the absence of Apples Supreme Ringmaster, this Circus may not live up to prior years excitement.
To make the challenge more daunting, is the stretch they will have to make if announcing the iPhone with typical Apple superlatives.
Hardly "Magical & Revolutionary" this warmed over model will give Cook a run for his money.
It's that challenge that has captured my interest in the presentation. I simply can't imagine how they're going to pull this one off.
It was no secret that the last time disappointment was great as many expected the iPhone 5. Yet once again Apple proved that nothing matters but the Apple logo. Argued over & over here in the forum "it's not about the specs" it's the experience.
Yet that's misleading as well. For the general public who are not enthusiasts, have no prior smartphone experience, they are easily wowed.
The only thing they notice is it's looks. Impressed by money, they are captivated by Apples riches. Therefore like many, they simply buy one to be associated with Apple & to have what their friends have.
Having crested that hill, Apples got a lot of room to coast.
