iMac shipping times

Still a little disappointed to not see my order in the preparing for dispatch stage.

My order immediately after announcement gave me 3rd - 7th October. I remember reading threads from last year which mentioned people received shipped status just 2-3 days after ordering which happened over the weekend.

Didnt know my iMac was coming from Ireland (to the UK). I'd only expect 2 days shipping then, fingers crossed it gets shipped on Monday.

My order was placed by the business team for a 2012 iMac Friday 20th, the order was then cancelled and reordered when they realised it needed to be the late 2013. My estimated is now 4th-8th Oct. can I assume my BTO will be coming from Ireland also?
 
Sometime during the evening of September 29th, my status changed to shipped. It is now showing a ETA of October 9th to TitleTown U.S.A (Green Bay, WI).
 
I'm still hopeful, although my order status hasnt changed at all from processing. I got my AirPort Extreme in just two days when it told me it'd be a week or more, so I'll remain optimistic!

The shipping is about on-par with mine, but I still can't stand this waiting game! Still feels like we get somewhat shafted in Canada. Here's mine:

Hahaha, I've been saving/waiting since June. And still, we'll be up and running far before those poor rMBP bastards...

My 27 BTO has a delivery date of 30th Sep to 2nd Oct and when I checked this morning was still showing 'Processing Items', even though today could have been the earliest delivery date which was a little concerning :eek:

Just checked on-line again and it's now changed to 'Preparing for Dispatch' :D

Mine changed to preparing for dispatch about an hour ago too. :)
 
dont forget after you receive your MACHINE to post here your config and some benchmarks result :D i will, but mine probably i will receive after mid OCT
 
wow, mine moved to preparing for shipment two or three hours ago, and has now been updated to shipped. base 21.5" with 256ssd and trackpad. delivery date was given oct 1-4. i have express shipping so if they are really assembled in ireland i could have it (in germany) tomorrow or wednesday. excellent!

I have a feeling BTO still come from china but your tracking should confirm this soon.

I think assembled stock units come from Ireland.

We shall find out soon :)

When did you order?

I ordered mine about 11am EST on 9/24 and elected for the 2-3 day shipping. Right now I am looking at an expected delivery date of 10/3 to 10/7 (of course 10/5 and 10/6 is the weekend :( )

It is still in the 5-7 day processing phase. Tomorrow will mark 7 days. Hope it changes soon I would really like to get this ASAP and get some benchmarks up for Wow, D3, and Flash performance!

I ordered mine before you and my delivery date is a full week after yours! Definitely got shafted, lol.

On another note, I'm interested in seeing your benchmarks!

John i checked times on my email confirmation and it would have been just after 1pm EST if that is your timezone. I ordered from the UK.

Cool. Thank you for the heads up. I hope to see mine shipped today then, hopefully by the end of the day!

I am refreshing the Order Status page like it's no one's business. Really looking forward to getting back onto a 27" iMac. Such a pleasure to work and play on that screen size and resolution.

I ordered about 8:30 pm UK time, so 3:30 pm EST on the 24th and mine had today to the 2nd October as delivery. It changed to preparing for dispatch about 5 hours ago.

Now marked as shipped, at 5:30pm BST

I admit that was quicker than i thought, research from older posts shows around 24 hours from preparing to shipped status


No tracking yet so not sure where it is coming from

We've ordered exactly the same! Ordered mine this lunchtime, mine says:

Delivery: 04 Oct, 2013 - 08 Oct, 2013 by Standard Shipping
