Seems like a fake, but if not, I'd be disappointed if that stupid Newsstand icon UI somehow survives.
Yeah that makes sense. Because how could Apple make MULTIPLE changes to the OS. Only one thing can be updated for iOS 7. Seriously, is critical thinking dead?
Summary:
1/ It could be real, it could be fake - who knows or cares?
2/ Some will "hate!!!" it, then suddenly decide they like it - this ALWAYS happens, and is tediously predictable

Hardly the makeover most are expecting/wanting.
No rumor said it would get a complete make over. The rumors clearly stated it would be flatter and more consistent. This picture shows both of those. No more gloss, no more borders, much sharper looking. If you were expecting live tiles, you were clearly expecting to much.
I can't wait for the MR meltdown when iOS 7 comes out. Ive's job isn't to make your GUI 'fashionable' or 'entertaining', so if you are someone who gets bored with an OS (lmao), you're going to stay bored. Watch some TV or something to occupy your brain cell instead of fiddling with your pocket computer all day.

I think the dock will lose the gloss like it did in mountain lion. Flatter and stays consistent with OS X, makes sense to me!

I'm not saying anything at all. This way, so long as one notices I never contributed to this conversation, I can run around screaming I TOLD YOU SO at everyone if the rumor ends up being true.
Anyway, I've noticed a pattern with Apple rumors.
Generally, if you get a picture of the "SECRET PICTURES OF NEXT IPHONE/IMAC/MBA/MBP" just a couple of months after the release of a new one, it usually ends up being false.
But if you get a blurry screenshot a couple of weeks before WWDC or a keynote speech, you've got a far greater chance of the rumor ending up being true.
