Why post something so fake looking as news and on the front page, what's your purpose??? It just makes you less credible even for a "Mac Rumors" website.

Why does the screen not align with the frame of the phone?

The photo shows a phone that has taken a photo of a test phone with the new icons.

if this is the real iOS I kept my high hopes up, also I would think the original icon images would look horrid flattened and unchanged. it is time for a change since 2009 Apple has yet to deliver something promising for today not for the yesteryear fingers crossed it is a fake.

A little off-topic, but this topic is circular nonsense anyway:

My friend has had an iPhone 5 for *ONE WEEK*, and asked me, tonight, to back his data up because he's sending it back, and considering going back to a clunky, creaky Nokia N86, and he said "It's way too complicated and over-engineered" LOL - he says he has to have his phone read out the name of the caller when he is working (on a building site), and because of that, and the fact it is "too complicated", he'd rather revert to old, crappy Symbian.

Takes all sorts - I think he's gonna try a 4S for a week, as another complaint he had was that the 5 screen was slightly too tall for his liking.

"Complicated"? LOL - that's a first - I told him he's devolving, by going back to Nokia. He asked me "is there another brand I can have a hotspot with" - I proceeded to tell him of the joys of Android and WinMo(if he thinks an *iPhone* is "complicated", he'd better fasten his belt).

Don't believe anything til WWDC.

I believe one thing: Apple will absolutely NAIL IT. :D

ha ha

so jonie ives wants to flatten the design and get rid of skeuromorphisemwodiueroigja0989##*()2pism.... the newsstand icon is still a book shelf?! definitely a real leaked image!

I've been reading almost all of the posts here and couldn't resist to make one observation which seems (and correct me if I'm wrong) no one mentioned here - if you read the previous articles about iOS 7 you can find an info saying that people who are internally testing iOS 7 at Apple are using a protective layer over the screen which reduces the viewing angles of the device, ergo making in almost impossible for other to see anything if they are not directly looking at the screen.

This being said, perhaps the light refraction is really messy and when taking the photo of it you get the "potato level of clarity" of the image.

Not saying this can't be fake, but I think this could be a legitimate case of Apple's protective layer over the test devices at work preventing the image to be clear.
I'm sorry but... did you LOOk at the image? lol

Yes, exactly. This is not even a good rumor

It is a decent rumour. It's one of those debunking rumours. One done so bad, you know what ever it claims is 100% false, no matter how much the rumour itself and the website it's on try to make you believe it's true.

That's so effing fake ... screens out of alignment

What is actually funnier than the original pic, is just how many people keep stating 'SCREEN IS NOT ALIGNED' !! My god, ITS A PIC OF A PHONE, THAT TOOK A PIC OF THE FIRST PHONE! how is this so difficult to understand...?

I bet u can swipe from the left to right of app pages and up and down!!! too!!

Why does the screen not align with the frame of the phone?

I guess it's in the middle of page scrolling. Regardless, probably a fake photo anyway.

Edit: Ops, just noticed it. You're right, picture is misplaced within the frame.

Unless...iOS 7 allows vertical scrolling/rotation too.
