I said in the other thread that I would buy a 3GS in the summer instead of this because this phone looks ugly as sin.
I loved my 1400. I thought it was great.
LOL. You would then procede to immediately feel like an idiot when your phone which cosmetically is slightly nicer becomes outdated in 2 years and can no longer do some sweet feature that the new one can do. Looks arent everything. I have a macbook pro. It looks very nice. If it was the same price and had windows noone would even consider it. Looks arent everything

I really hope Engadget eats **** after this one. I'm becoming so sick of Gizmodo/Engadget/any other random tech blog.
Hello fellas, I'm from the Applesfera team. The reader who sent the first image gave us two new pics of his device, just FYI.
Here's the Spanish image - with a slice of the Engadget image alongside.

Checkout the highlights on the buttons, the slider and the bottom of the device.
The Spanish image was clearly built from pixels from the Engadget image.
Why would someone want to fake this?

I do believe those are real pictures of a fake phone.
the photo's seems to be taken with a webcam/phonecam or so. Camera's like that are known for bad capturing of shiny or illuminated objects.
I don't think the photo's are adobed.
