Do ideviceguys. You might have to wait but he will get it done for the price posted ($45).

That first link might end up being a bargain. Chronic is up to 80. That second link, if you check out testimonials, he responds to one saying that AT&T unlock is down worldwide as of 6 hours ago. Let's hope for good news soon.
 
anyone as of yesterday or today that can recommend an instant unlock? Even tried to call ATT and they don't do anything on the phone anymore....

this is starting to really suck

Reason why I'm asking on here is because there are many that already submitted orders for a newly priced unlock so why not get information from them if any of them have actually gone through?

1 day, this vendor work but no guarantee for tomorrow.

No, Apple would not replace a locked phone with an fully unlocked phone or a Verizon iPhone with an at&t iPhone. Even you are willing to pay for the different.

Has anyone used this site? I'm sure it's no good, but they are saying $5.99 to unlock... Figured I'd risk the money and see, will report back...

That could be the case. Swiftunlocks just removed their AT&T iPhone unlock off their page.
 
Just FYI for those feeling discouraged, I just got an iPhone 4S unlocked through AT&T today (took 2.5 days total). I used my mom's account which she's had for years and is in good standing. The phone must have been paid in full at some point I'm guessing (I got it off ebay).

Hello Saud, after tiredly waiting for 8 days for my phone to be unlock with cellunlocker.net Im canceling my order and asked for my money to be re found.
My iphone 5 have a clean imei and im going to ask my cousin to help me, he have an att account.
How do I pm you?

Well his phone could be unlocked. But he isn't saying he is using t-mobile service on a locked AT&T iPhone. He is saying that he performed the sim swap trick to access apn settings. I need to access apn settings to set up straight talk mms on my AT&T locked iPhone.
 
i had at least two att iphones replaced under warranty both were locked but worked with tmobile sim. they did not work with any other sim. they worked only on tmobile and att networks in usa.
 
idevice guys has also taken down their at&t iPhone unlock service as of this post, however according to a tweet its temporary to catch up with old orders and should be back up tomorrow.

That doesn't make sense.
If they're locked to AT&T then they would not work with tmobile.
If they were unlocked AT&T iphones then they will work with tmobile and any gsm sim in the world.
