That doesn't make sense.
If they're locked to AT&T then they would not work with tmobile.
If they were unlocked AT&T iphones then they will work with tmobile and any gsm sim in the world.

the girl from apple store checked on her ipad that it is locked att iphone and did not understand why it worked with tmobile sim either. But it worked, even though online imei check services showed it is locked to att. I have to say this is not a case with all iphones replaced under warranty most of them if locked to att will not work with tmobile but some will and i don't know the rule.

Placed order on 20th. Still wait for result. Hope swiftunlock can do their job.

How much did you pay? I fear they will reply you with "service down". I had to do the same. I even disabled the ATT unlocks as I wait till it gets stable. There are some solutions for over $50, but I have not tested them yet.

How did you manage to get that to work? I tried and it always goes to activation screen when inserting t-mobile sim

When you insert the Tmobile SIM, double-tap the home key and go to Notes (or any other open application), then put the Straight Talk SIM card in and double-tap the home key to go back to settings...

Tmobile does not work on Att phone that guy is clueless or doesn't know his phone is unlocked. It's not that complicated

LOL, shows what you know... Quit slamming people when you have no clue what you are talking about...

Well his phone could be unlocked. But he isn't saying he is using t-mobile service on a locked AT&T iPhone. He is saying that he performed the sim swap trick to access apn settings. I need to access apn settings to set up straight talk mms on my AT&T locked iPhone.

You are correct, I only used the T-Mobile card to access the APN settings... :) I have 2 iPhone 5 phones, one is locked, one is unlocked, both are being used on Straight Talk with LTE and full MMS!

All of this is now moot with Apple pushing out updated carrier settings for Straight Talk that enables MMS/data out of the box. :D

I'm trying one service right now, just to see if they deliver. I received an e-mail stating that they have 100% turn around 1-5 days and have unlocked over 500 this past Friday, but they are very pricey (>$65). I only submitted one IMEI to see. They actually put me through the ringer though before they took my order. LOTS of verification. I kind of appreciated that as a vendor.

Personally, I'm trying to get to the bottom of this myself. So far I've been through about 5 "direct sources". I still have 3 IMEI pending with one, already over a week old. I'm told that they will "clear" tonight. I've already refunded those customers though. If they unlock, I'll just give it to them.

I'm so through with the games some of these suppliers are playing, taking orders, cancelling and telling you to reorder at the higher price.

just got refunded from ideviceguys

Going to return the phone and buy a verizon one tomorrow.

+1 !!!! Waiting from any news from Unlockfusion, submitted 20 Oct

I'm going to do the same, but.... I switch from ATT. They can lock-block-%uck whomever, whatever they want, but not me at all.

End of the story, thanks God they are not a monopoly anymore :)

unlocked Verizon 5s is better than unlocked ATT 5s anyway

It's the same, but you can use it with VZW. I don't like Att with their high roaming fees. Better go with T-mo free SMS+ internet+ 20c/min

ATFDL unlocked my 5 using their 1-8 hours. It's $90 bucks which is sad, but it worked thank god. I noticed SwiftUnlocks took their's down.

Chronic Unlocks just posted this on their Facebook page:

"We advise that anyone in need of an AT&T iPhone unlock who is in a hurry not order one, same goes for anyone who is unable to wait, as turnaround times lately have become unreliable. This is a worldwide issue due to increased security imposed by AT&T, and no other provider is currently able to get things done any faster (feel free to look around the web and see that this is true).

Anyone who does not want to unlock their AT&T iPhone anymore, please email support@chronicunlocks.com to cancel your order. We advise that you be absolutely sure you do not want to unlock your device if you cancel, because if you change your mind after cancellation, your place in the queue will be lost and you'd have to start again (or you'd be wasting time with another provider who will tell you the same information in regards to these AT&T problems)."

He also posted this as a reply to a question:

"We've had a few clear this morning actually, it's just very slow (hopefully they'll show up on this page to post their feedback affirming this, but unfortunately many are frustrated about the wait times, so I am unsure if they will)."

I guess it's still possible to get unlocks but the service being very unstable.

Unlock Fushion have on their web page:
"

IF NEW ORDERS ARE MADE IT WILL BE CANCELLED DO NOT PLACE ANY MORE ORDERS. OUR SUPPLIER WILL CLEAR ALL ORDERS IN PROCESS AND WILL NOT TAKE NEW ORDERS. HE WILL CLEAR FROM FRIDAY to SUNDAY.

WE ARE SORRY about slow time frames but this is a GLOBAL ISSUE with all processors. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ON STATUS OR ETA. We will just copy and paste this email as this is the suppliers response on the ATT IPHONE orders. "

I wait if nothing is there I go with Verizon/T-mo unlocked phone and go with another provider.

Sorry for off-top:
Att can improve security, lock-unlock, protect, pay CEO triple more, listen all the phones, listen no phones, lease their cell towers, implement LTE, shut down LTE, buy-cell bands, kiss FCC, pay T-mobile couple more billions, charge them for the same/different amount, they can even recall themselves Cingular..., but without me. I need my phone in Europe next week and I can, but don't want to pay 200+ dollars for roaming. I better pay 450 more
I bought my phone at Att store and I'm subject to pay 36 dollars restocking fee, I open dispute of charge, I want them be busy and have losses from now.
It is me 10+ years loyal customer

OMG: thanks God we have this forum here.

BTW: transferred one of my lines already to T-mo today- internet 4g is faster than LTE :)

So I placed 4x 5s orders on last Sat(19 ~8amEST) for $39.99 each via Unlock Fusion.

Like I said, hope I can get on the last ship and next year I will probably buy the unlocked version with full price.

GL everyone.

Unlocking service, iPhone 5' iOS 7.0.3 AT&T

Anyone recently, unlock their iPhone 5 on iOS 7.0.3 on AT&T? Anyone recommend a service for me that is fast? I heard that there is a delay in at&t unlocking at the momen.

Damn that sucks. I wonder if AT&T will unlock my phone if I give them a sob story about my loyalty and me going out of the country for a few months.
