"I cant take any requests right now"

I started hearing this last night before I went to bed around 10pm and now at 8am I am getting the same response. Does this mean the server is down, or overloaded?

How long did you guys think this would go on before apple figures out a way to shut it down?
Do you know how much money Apple can throw at this? ;)

There are a couple of ways to check

Go to their web site and their you can see their server stats.

Like them on Facebook and they supply regular updates. Search for SiriZone

Simply change your server to the next nearest.

I have read a Facebook status saying ;

Having issues, delete plist file by using I file from cydia. Browse to /var/mobile/library/preferences. Delete : com.apple.assistant.plist

Any idea why my Siri on iPhone 4 using Spire and the iMZDL proxy says "At your service" and "As you wish" all the time, yet my colleague's native Siri on iPhone 4S doesn't?

Or is it the Cydia tweak SiriToggles that's doing it?

Settings/Hands-Free Control. - Change your theme back to default. I'm assuming you are using the Hands-Free tweak?

I was, but I uninstalled it and the "problem" remains. I'll re-install it and check that setting…

UPDATE: sorted, thanks. I had it set to "British", and when I uninstalled Handsfree, that setting remained. I re-installed Handsfree, changed to "Default", then uninstalled Handsfree. All ok now. Makes you wonder though, why does the setting remain even after uninstall of Handsfree?

I think it is because a lot of the core files for interacting with Siri remain, even after you delete the tweak.

Does the handsfree tweak affect battery life ?

This tweak sounds like a nice work around for my iPhone 4.

My biggest gripe with hands free was using the phone in my car...it would always be "listening" so my phone would stop playing music through my stereo. so I have to active Siri manually. Not sure about battery life.

I truly wonder if apple are going to continually try to battle the hackers/companies supplying siri proxies or bite the bullet and admit the older idevices work fine and allow siri in their next iOS update, or maybe allow some form of payment per month/year themselves for server access !

Apple input a security feature and the hackers "hack" it.

Cat and mouse !

Heres to interesting times ahead.

Does this Proxy actually work? And it's not hosted by a ninth grader with a Macbook Air?
Should I even think about this?

My experience has been solid with this company. U can use 8 different servers.
Apple are currently trying to stop the use of their servers but it just like jailbreaking in my opinion.

The hackers continue to jailbreak. !

You can follow them on facebook under the name SiriZone.

Thank you for the reply. Are you tasked with having to repeatedly delete the plist file? Or similar - delete this, reinstall that, change the other thing...?

When you've paid u get an e mail with all the servers certificates which you download from the email. Also present are the. 8 proxy URL 's.

If one glitches u just copy and paste another server URL into spire.

Choose the neatest to you. Their server sites can be seen on their website along with its current status.

Another method if you have issues is the delete plist resolution method.

Currently I've had no issues.

NY Server is not working for me again today. Same as yesterday. Already deleted plist and no success...going to try switching servers.

ok i seem to have done something rather reckless or stupid even.
when i registered and bought the usage of the proxy, i ended up messing up the email address.
i messed up a letter in the email. lucky for me, that email address was not registered, so i quickly registered it. i sent a mail to the imzdl guys regarding this issue, no reply yet though.
any idea what i can/should do ?

Nope. Been solid for some time now. Initial flurry of problems in the first 3-4 days seems to be well behind them now.

You can also 'like' them on Facebook and leave comments.

they are SiriZone

Installed Spire this morning and bought and paid for the Proxy Servers from IMZDL. They were quick and emailed the server information immediately after.

Now I have a problem where when I try to install the profile from their server, it gives me an error of "Your iPhone is not activated." in a pop-up box. I already emailed their help email (siri@imzdl.com), but they haven't been able to provide the profile to install manually yet. Blah.

Im assuming you opened their e mail on your iPhone and went thro the process of downloading all the certificates.

Then i opted to manually input the url into the spire host field.

Well when I try to install the profile from their website, it gives the error.

I did try inputting the https://ip as well into Spire, but it just gives a connection error within Siri.

They're support has been less than helpful so far, as I've emailed them several times immediately after. One email response from them was asking if my UDID was entered correctly, which it was, and the other email was simply them saying "What's the problem?" to which I replied the same information above and provided a screenshot.

It's been over an hour now since I've heard from them, so I wrote a post on their Facebook wall seeing if they could help, and saying how I already emailed them, then they immediately deleted my post.

Beginning to think this was a bad idea...

After some going back and forth, they were able to help me and get the profiles installed (manually, still wasn't able to install them via the website). Siri's up and working on my end. Works about 80% of the time (which is good enough for me!)
