This makes me mad because incase made it sound like you could only get it from them at first. And yet it's already in stores before mine is even half way shipped to me?

Are there major differences between the slider and snap case? Besides the way it goes on? Is it the same material?

It looks like the VICE1510 promo code still works when you buy something off their website. Not only does it give free ground shipping but it also knocks about $5 off the product price. I ended up paying just under $30 for the slider.

To the new owners of Incase Slider, does the case become slippery after a while? I have an Incase Slider for my original iPhone and it really gets slippery after a while.

My slider is on its way. I bought it Weds. Theyre located like an hour or so away from me so shipping is fast :D. Just need freakin UPS to deliver it.

Got mine in CT today. Like it a lot but it doesn't work with my zagg. Gonna have to get a new one and trim off the edges.

Just walked into my local Best Buy and got a slider.

Yep. Went to BB during lunch and sure enough...black sliders for sale.

When did you order yours? I'm in NY and I ordered mine the day they became available and my tracking info says I won't receive mine until Tuesday?

Just picked this up at best Buy and it is a very nice case. I am not sure if it is a keeper. I still think the bumper looks and feels better. I put scotch tape on the metal parts of the phone to prevent either case from scratching it. The back of the incase has no character. I still would like to find a nice carbon fiber screen protector with the back apple logo area cut out in combo with the bumper. I heated the bumper so it fits very snug.

Just got mine and it fits with my BSE back protector+side protectors. I've left those on because I'm not sure if I will always want to use the case, but it's definitely a great quality product (as per usual Incase standards.) One thing I don't like, however, is that the little stand I got is clear, not black as shown in the pictures in the product listing on Goincase.com. Not a huge deal, of course, but it still isn't what I was expecting. Also, as is the case with most phone cases, it of course does not fit in the dock with the bottom part on. Maybe I need to get a Griffin Simplifi? ;)

Oh, and it's a lot less black than I thought it would be—probably down to the finish.

Bumper/carbon fiber combo is what I'm after too. I already have the bumper and just purchased the carbon skin from LuckyLabs. It should arrive next week.

Has anyone used this with the PS Crystal set on the front and back?

Trying to consider to get this while I wait for this bumper that won't ship for a month. Used a slider the entire two years on my 3G.

I just picked mine up at Best Buy today, and I'm really loving it. The 30 pin connector opening is just big enough for my aftermarket charging cable (and my older Apple ones with the buttons on the side for unhooking it). It's a bit more slick in the hand than the bumpers, since it's not rubbery like the edges of the bumper, but it doesn't feel like it's going to slip right out of my hand. I haven't had any problems with the flash either. The back does pick up fingerprints and smudges a bit, but it wipes off pretty well. I've found the fit to be perfect, which is nice since I've had fitment issues with sliders for the original iPhone and iPhone 3G/3GS. This one's going to easily replace the bumper for daily use.

the slider case is designed so that you can slide the bottom piece off when you wish to dock it.

Ill answer my question since I picked one up already. The case is matte so it's less slippery and seems to repel sweat for some reason. It's a little hard for me to explain that but my incase slider for 2g attracted the oiliness of my hands and cannot be removed simply by wiping it of cloth. This matte version doesnt seem to have it.

With regards to someone who said that the back of the case is soul-less or is boring, I think that it's true. They used to put a logo at the back and I hated it because they made our phones their advertising billboard. Now with their logo on the lower right side of the phone, the back of the case looks boring. The only saving grace is that I look at the front of the phone particularly the screen all the time.

I have a skin protector both in front and at the back of my iPhone that I bought on eBay. Once I inserted the Slider, bubbles formed on the side. The screen protector looked so centered when it was first placed. I guess I have to find a screen protector that fits with the Slider :-(.
