I took mine back at my work (best buy) and exchanged mine just thinking it might have been a defective one and I was right the one that I have now doesn't do it at all.

What is different about the case?

My black incase slider fits perfectly, tight, but not impossible to remove, just how I like it. Also, I have the Steinhill oleophobic protector on and the case did not interfere with it, the ifrogz I used since launch day however would lift every protector up, had to trim the protector away from the top and bottom.

Also, no flash issues.

But again, the incase slider, at least for me, fits well and is totally compatable with my screen protector.

Good to know. I was wondering about this as I also have the SGP screen protector. Might have to go check out Best Buy today and see if they have any sliders.

I had three different Sliders for my 3G. THEY DO NOT WORK WITH SCREEN PROTECTORS!

They should come with a big sticker that says "THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH SCREEN PROTECTORS"?

Steve

Sorry Steve, but that's a crock.

I love how you guys think that incase HAS to make their sliders be compatible with screen protectors.

Incase doesn't even MAKE screen protectors therefore they shouldn't care about your overpriced plastic sticker over smooth glass as an issue.

I would use the Slider case before I'd throw on a screen protector.

Also: if you're having flash issues try looking at where your positioning your fingers when you take a pic with the flash.

Quick follow up.

Had my slider on for less than 24 hours, phone slipped from my hand, fell onto my ceramic tile floor.

With sweat dripping down my brow, I picked it up.

Phone is aok, and slider doesn't have a mark on it.

Whew!

Ps. I think ifrogz would have cracked.

In all honesty sakes, I dont think I mentioned that my experience involved my Iphone 4 with a switch easy screen protector and a rear screen protector as well. I think that combination is what made the case fit so tightly that there was no room for the front screen protector to fit, thus immediately pulling it up.

For now I will stick with my belking grip vue clear, still waiting for a replacement which has the fixed camera whole cut out.

For those of you who the slider works for, its a good case.

Because previous sliders would work flawlessly with Power Support protectors. It's just a shame that they don't anymore.

Called about ten Best Buys in Kansas City yesterday looking for the Slider. They all had gotten a shipment in this week though all but one store was sold out. The store had just received a shipment last night so I went in first thing this morning and there were only two left.

This case is great. I was a worried at first because it took a bit of effort to slide it on, in fact it was much tighter than my 3GS Slider. I just got my iPhone 4 yesterday and was having trouble adjusting to how thin the iP4 was naked. Thin is never bad but for someone who uses their phone as much as I do, pulling it in and out of my pocket 50 times a day I was scared to death it would slip out of my hands.

I haven't tested for felt any other cases on the iP4 but I know this slider adds considerable depth and bulk to the phone. I honestly like it better that way. I love the flat back on the case and phone... much nicer to hold in portrait and landscape.

Overall I love this case and don't foresee any issues with it. Funny that I swapped my 3GS for the iP4 at Radio Shack yesterday and only paid $17 for the upgrade, then I go to Best Buy and drop $38 on a case =)

Yea this is just dumb, I've had a PS film on my 3G with a slider and now have a PS film on my 4 with a slider and it fits fine, no bubbles or anything. You are definitely doing something wrong with your film application.

People put the screen shields on before they got their case, which is fine for some, but if it wasn't lined up perfectly then you're going to encounter problems. Most screen protectors work with the slider, you just need to line them up first with the case on.

Just picked up my incase slider from BB in Austin. I have a shipped slider coming in from Incase directly that will be arriving on Monday, I am going to return this one to the store unopened. I have been sitting at home nursing a surgically repaired ACL for the past four days, and I couldn't take the wait any longer :).

I love incase, it is clear that they think about design, rather than rushing a product to market.

Regarding those with screen protector issues. It is a double edged sword, you can get the screen protector to work with the slider, but it has to be installed absolutely perfectly. On the flip side, if they were to make it easier to have a screen protector on, people would gripe about the fit of the slider. You can't win all the battles.

My gripe of the day. My free bumper from Apple most definitely put a small scratch in the antenna banding. So frustrating. I have had this phone for about 2.5 weeks, the bumper has been on since day 1. Oh well, it is a phone, and it is only going to get more and more of the dings, the first one is ALWAYS the most frustrating.

The generic screen protectors from eBay doesn't work for me. I've already placed it perfectly center and bubbles from all sides would form. Yes, all sides...

I used a Power Support anti-glare protector on my 3G with the Slider for quite some time with no bubbling issues. Of course, I was especially anal about getting the screen protector on just-so, so as other posters are suggesting it may indeed be an alignment issue.

Has anyone tried the slider case with a PS front and back protector? I understand the front needs to be aligned; however, the back protector will create more girth regardless.

Just picked mine up from the Best Buy in Allen, TX. They had eight in stock (black).

The case fits great and feels just as good if not better than my 3GS case did. I've had a Frogz case on it since day one (not that bad of a case), but the InCase looks and feels SO much better.

Thank you InCase! I LOVE IT!

I'm not sure about the PS back, but with the Invisibleshield back there was no way that the case was going to go on the phone without breaking something.

It seems to me the tightness of these cases varies quite a bit. I went to my Local Best Buy and asked a store representative if I could try on the case before I bought it. He said no problem, so I tried two cases. I have a PS front and back crystal screen protector installed. With the first case I tired there was no way that the case was going on over the screen protectors. However the second case I tried fit much looser and went on without too much trouble. There was some bubbling of the front screen protector. I ended up not getting it as I need a case that I can use with a screen protector. I also experienced slider cases with different fits for my iPhone 3gs and went through a few at an apple store until I found one with a satisfactory fit. Seems incase needs to do some quality control though.

Did anyone else get a CLEAR case stand with their slider? I just noticed that the clear one is supposed to be for the White Slider not the black case.

If anyone knows someone who works at BB, you could get this case for $13...not to mention their Rocketfish cases are only $2

What is different about the case?

I noticed that the flash ring wasn't glossy on the new one. The ring on my first case had some gloss to it so it was reflecting the flash creating the blue haze that everyone hates.

This is what I did. Refuse to pay 35$ for this. Got it for 13.88. And he won't get fired as long as he buys it for you and give him cash.
