the slider case is designed so that you can slide the bottom piece off when you wish to dock it.

I know it does, but it's a pain in the butt to do that when you're constantly on the go, so I think I'll upgrade to the Simplifi so that I can just leave the bottom on all the time.

Has anyone who has purchased a slider found a screen protector that doesn't interfere with the case? The invisibleshield makes the case hard to get on and off.

Also, I'm having trouble with the flash but only when I take a picture in portrait mode. Anyone else have his problem?

Just an FYI, this case is NOT compatible with Powersupport's Anti-Glare film. The fit is a lot tighter than the 3G cases, so it makes it bubble up all over. Very disappointing. I have to return it tomorrow now.

I wasn't expecting it to work, but I'll post it here for posterity. The Incase Slider is -NOT- compatible with my DecalGirl back -or- front. I took off the front piece first to see if I could get it to fit, and it was still no go with just the back cover left in place. I had to peel off both to get it to fit...just too snug otherwise.

Oh well, I wasn't that fond of the DecalGirl look anyways. I thought I'd like it but it really made the phone look juvenile.

After waiting so patiently for this case, it dissapointed completely.

I put it on, and it completely destroyed my switcheasy screen protector.
It was damm near impossible to take the case off after.
The case fits so tight against the glass, that I doubt any screen protectors will work with it.

Going back immediately tomorrow.

Picked up the black slider

From best buy. It was 35 bucks. Fits really well and feels really nice. I have a crappy screen protector that I received when I ordered a Incipio feather case. Overall, so far, I'm a happy camper.

does anyone feel like the slider case makes the phone look like a huge brick? the phone was squared before but now with the case it looks so much more square :(

I like the case so far. Like others said I doubt it will work with any screen protectors. Very sleek and doesn't effect the flash at all.

I have the PS back and front protector and it's good to know that I will not buy the slider case now. It worked for my 3GS with a front screen protector.

Guess the snap case will have the best fit with the screen protector.

I got a power support front screen protector and it fits fine. I just had to press down on the bubble while sliding the bottom end of the slider case.

I ordered mine the day they became available, selected 3 day shipping though. :p

What screen protector works for the Slider? I prefer something cheap.

I can fit the back and sides of my BSE protector on. It's snug, but it works. Just make sure you have a dock that is large enough to leave the bottom of the case on while syncing, because it's so snug that it's a pain in the butt to take off.

Thanks but does the front fit without bubbling? The front screen protector is what I'm most concerned

I can only tell you that I had both the front AND back on initially, and the front started to bubble, so I just took it off; largely because I don't really see a point in it and just put it on in the interim. So, if you have just the front and not the back will it bubble? I haven't a clue, but probably since they all seem to do that.

I bought one today from Best Buy but it just wouldn't work well with my power support protector. Sadly I had to return it. At least I'm relatively happy with the iFrogz case while I wait for my Seidio case to come.

I had three different Sliders for my 3G. THEY DO NOT WORK WITH SCREEN PROTECTORS!

They should come with a big sticker that says "THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH SCREEN PROTECTORS"?

I just took some pictures with my phone in and out of the case while using the flash...

Incase did not produce a case that is free of the flash issue because my photos in the case were completely washed out, while the pictures without the case (same angle, subject) were completely fine.

:(

Just e-mailed Incase requesting either a refund or replacement because of this problem and the fact that they advertise the case as being flash-compatible.

btw, my case does not have the ring around the camera cutout as it looks on the Incase site and if you look closely, you can see lines where it looks like it should be. Manufacturing flaw, right? Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Here are images of the inside and outside of the case's camera cutout:

I took mine back at my work (best buy) and exchanged mine just thinking it might have been a defective one and I was right the one that I have now doesn't do it at all.

I don't agree with this at all. The slider works fine with screen protectors. I had my slider (2 of them actually) on my 3G for close to 2 years.

However, the screen protector has to be PERFECTLY aligned. If it's a little too much towards the top/bottom/sides, the case will cause it to bubble. My parents have the slider with the same screen protector (Power Support) and theirs both bubble due to less than perfect alignment.

Can't speak for the iP4 however.

Don't agree with this one at all. Have an Zagg IS on front and back and my slider fits! It's snug but it fits. No bubbling either.

I had PS screen protectors and incase sliders on my 3G and 3GS and had no issues at all. Waiting for my slider and snap case and I have a PS crystal on my ip4. The anti glare is at least double the thickness as the crystal, I had te anti glare on at first and had lifting issues with both my speck pixelskin hd and geometric. The crystal is good to go.
