Has anyone known Incipio to release more colors? The current set of colors of neither the NGP nor Frequency really are lighting me. I'm wondering if I should hold out or go for it now...

The Kicksnap arrived today...

The good:
- it's a well made case that fits properly
- rubbery interior is soft enough that I don't think it will scratch the iPhone
- no issues with plugging in lightning connector or headphones
- buttons are covered with the same hard rubber material that's in the interior, and still work great

The bad:
- exterior finish is very glossy and shows lots of fingerprints
- not a huge deal, but the kickstand seems like it will take some time to wear in... I had to bend it back just a tiny bit to keep it from closing on me
- does add some extra bulk to the phone

Overall it's a nice case. Having used the iPhone 5 naked over the past few days though, I've grown to really like the design and slimness of it... covering it up with this thick case doesn't feel right now. So, I may also get a bumper to see if I like that better, or just use it without a case.

Now I'm really glad I ordered this one. It looks great!!

Got the Black Frequency. It's the perfect case.

Bigger than the Feather but smaller than the Dual Shine.

Having owned a Feather and this I HIGHLY recommend the Frequency. It's the perfect case.

Wish I could find the Mercury-gray one locally. I may have to order one on their site.

I'm thinking about buying an Incipio case. I am looking at the website but there are not any descriptions on each case. Would anyone be able to let me know what the differences are between the feather, feather shine, and NGP?

Has anyone received a ship confirmation on an incipio case ordered from their site? I ordered a Frequency case about a week ago, but still nothing.

Will you do a review on it please?

Sure....

I was trying to decide between the otterbox commuter, cygnette workmate, and the incipio dual pro and decided on the Incipio dual pro...My reasons for going with the dual pro over the otterbox and cygnette is that the Incipio seems to have that perfect balance between protection while retaining a decent form factor...The otterbox commuter reviews on this site had a few folks having a minor complaint of have to press too hard on the home button, some suggesting a slightly loose fit, and another thing I noticed is that the commuter seems to cover up some of the speaker holes on the bottom...The Cygnette, my only reason is I couldn't inspect it except for online and there were'nt enough reviews for me to form an opinion...

The Incipio dualpro has a "plextonium" shell (fancy term for polycarbonate?) and an inner silicone layer so there are two pieces...The outer layer feels like it has a silicone layer covering it so it's soft to the touch yet still grippy enough so it won't slip out of your hands....One thing lacking on the dual pro is that it does not come with a screen protector so if you desire one you have to make a separate purchase for that...It was very easy to put on and everything lined up perfectly and all the ports are easily accessible...And it looks "clean" and form fitting and adds very little bulk ....The edges are raised around the front so the screen won't make contact with the table if you lay it down screen side down...

So far I really like it....

Guys, just a note. I ordered an Otterbox Defender and when I received it thought it was too bulky. Went to the AT&T store and purchased one of the Incipio Dualpro (silicone & plastic) cases.

While the Incipio *looked* nice, it absolutely HOSED my Wifi and cell signals. Wifi dropped down to only 1 bar in my house with the case on, vs. 3 or 4 with the Otterbox or naked. LTE wouldn't stay on - it reverted to 4g (HSPA+) in the house or had low bars outside with that case on.

Needless to say, this case got returned and I stayed with the Otterbox. Slightly bulkier than I would like, but no reception problems whatsoever.

I did find others talking about Wifi and cell problems with some of the Incipio cases, so just be aware when making a decision.

I'm going to put this case on my phone as well. Does this case have any issues with cellular or wifi signals? Thanks.:D

I picked up the dual pro today. I wanted the feather but that was out of stock. I really do like the feel of it but I personally have never been a fan of having the silicon come up around the edges and the home button at the bottom. I'm going to see how a feather feels next week or so then make the choice which to use full time

Awesome, thanks! I am interested in the OLVMRD case... looks similar to dualpro but a tad thinner.

Hi there.

I have had the feather in black on my black ip5 since day one. Has a very grippy texture and feels nice, gives a slight lay on the table as well.

The wife has a white feather shine on her white ip5. Looks very chique and adds to the phone, has clear sides as well which shows the band.

Will get some pics tomorrow to show you.

Hope that helps. I always bought incase, but found they crack easily. Only thing I'm worried about is the rubber coating that has a habit of coming off.

Thanks

Yeah I emailed them last night and they replied this morning with my tracking number. Hopefully it gets here soon.

Forgot to mention that it was between the OVRMLD and dual pro after the others were ruled out as they look very similar and I liked both....The only reason I didn't go with the OVRMLD was that I didn't have a chance to physically inspect it....But from viewing it online it looked pretty close to the dual pro...

Picked up the DualPro. Wanted something that wouldn't scuff the iPhone (silicone interior) and this was the only nice one I saw on launch day.

I want the NGP case since I had it before on my 4S and it was the best case I've ever had....always looked new and saved my phone from countless drops.

Yet they're still out! I sent them an email asking about when they believe they will be available. I'll post if I hear from them. The kickstand/Frequency are also made from same material, yet don't need any extra "flash" to the look and more thickness. I got a thin cheap amazon case on it...not enough coverage but sure keeps the thin profile of the phone so I hope I don;t hate the NGP when I get it again haha

I'm going to put this case on my phone as well. Does this case have any issues with cellular or wifi signals? Thanks.:D

As far as I can tell, there is no difference in signal quality when the case is on. (which means, the cellular signal in my house is equally poor with and without the case ;))

Incipio Dual Pro Shine

Ordered this case from Amazon on Sunday. Delivered today and was surprised when it came with a screen protector as I read somewhere that it didn't. Anyhow I like it very much so far. No interference with signal strength as far as i can tell.:D

Sorry the pics are so big

Looks good....Perhaps the dual pro shine comes with the screen protector...I don't think the regular dual pros come with them, at least mine didn't...But I was going to put on the zagg HD anyway...

I'm really impressed with the Incipio cases.

I'm also very interested in OVRMLD. Actually, I'm torn between OVRMLD and Faxion.

Looking at the design, I prefer the OVRMLD but Faxion seems to use a more flexible material based on the description.

The only thing I'm concerned about is whether hard cases like these will scuff the aluminum part of the phone. I haven't received my phone yet but I'm wondering if it's really that prone to scuffs. Anybody have experience with any of these? Thanks.

That looks great. I sort of regret getting the regular dual pro now.

I have the Feather, Dual Pro, and the Kickstand cases from Incipio. Since I don't need the flip out stand I will either sell or return the Kickstand one. The other two are typical Incipio - great!
The Dual Pro is clearly more protective, but the Feather matches the character of the slim, lightweight new phone.

I also want the NGP, so I called Incipio today. The rep told me they should be in by next week.
