I have the Feather, Dual Pro, and the Kickstand cases from Incipio. Since I don't need the flip out stand I will either sell or return the Kickstand one. The other two are typical Incipio - great!
The Dual Pro is clearly more protective, but the Feather matches the character of the slim, lightweight new phone.

I also want the NGP, so I called Incipio today. The rep told me they should be in by next week.

Just buy AppleCare + and go nude. You're basically buying it with all the cases you're getting.

I think this is the case I want when it becomes available. For now my Rocketfish soft shell will hold me over.

Guys, just a note. I ordered an Otterbox Defender and when I received it thought it was too bulky. Went to the AT&T store and purchased one of the Incipio Dualpro (silicone & plastic) cases.

While the Incipio *looked* nice, it absolutely HOSED my Wifi and cell signals. Wifi dropped down to only 1 bar in my house with the case on, vs. 3 or 4 with the Otterbox or naked. LTE wouldn't stay on - it reverted to 4g (HSPA+) in the house or had low bars outside with that case on.

Needless to say, this case got returned and I stayed with the Otterbox. Slightly bulkier than I would like, but no reception problems whatsoever.

I did find others talking about Wifi and cell problems with some of the Incipio cases, so just be aware when making a decision.

I don't understand how wifi and cell signal could be hosed. There's no metal involved in the case. It is radio transparent as stated on the site.

So I saw 2 great screen protectors but I'm going to wait to see what they look like (a YouTube video review from a buyer on this website would be awesome) before I buy one.

I love my Incipio Feather and now there are 2 versions of it for the iPhone 5.

The Feather Shine

The Feather

I can't really tell the difference between the two but the finish on the Feather Shine looks better. They're shipping on the 21st so let's make this the official thread and keep it updated.

In case you're wondering, I bought this cheap bumper off Amazon to hold me over and it arrives in 3 days. I'll post picture of what it looks like when I get it.

how's the feather shine?

What is the purpose of the indention on the back of these Incipio cases?

Also, how thin is the NGP compared to the PixelSkin HD or Grip Candy? (Or the 4S equivalent if the grip candy, the Essential)

I got the Feather but I'm a afraid it may damage it. I will pick up the Kicksnap and go from there.

This is a foolish idea and leaves you screwed when you're out somewhere and drop/break your phone. I'd much rather have a case when I drop the phone, so I can pick it up and keep using it.

Anyway, the dualpro is what I've had on my 4 and have it now on the 5. That combined with the spigen glas.t is the best protection.

This is all in their head. The case is fully plastic and it's not possible to interfere with the radio.

Does the dual pro have decent drop protection?
Also, what buyers did you guys buy from on amazon? (Most are listed by a third party)

I ordered mine from "hard2find Accessories." I ordered it on late Tues night (basically Wednesday) and it arrived on Thursday. Very fast shipping. I didn't expect to get it so soon. Very pleased with the seller.

FWIW, it also came with a screen protector unlike what others have reported for dualpro. :)

Just ordered the Incipio Feather SHINE Case in Obsidian Black on Amazon 'cause it showed in stock from a seller. Hopefully it was true and it comes in this week. :)

which one do you guys think has better drop protection:

Incipio DualPro or Speck CandyShell?

does the DualPro collect lint and is it sticky when removing from your pocket?

My 2 cents:

I got the Incipio Folio, and I LOVE it when it's closed. IT's sleek, sexi, thin, just the right material to grip.

Unfortunately I HATE it when it's open. The design is TERRIBLE. Its hinge is designed poorly, so it never really lays flat against the back, and always just awkwardly hangs out over the edge. Plus the case leaves half the phone exposed even when closed.

I bought it yesterday, and returned it yesterday.

I haven't seen the CandyShell but the DualPro seems reasonably protective without being bulky. I also put an SGP screen protector on which works well because the edges of the case wrap over it nicely (and it's a great screen protector).

I'd characterize the feel of the DualPro as nicely grippy but not sticky. The soft inner portion, which is exposed at the top, bottom, and the left side around the buttons, does tend to pick up lint. Not really to the point of being annoying but I've got an OtterBox Commuter on order and I'm going to try that, too.

Aside from the lint issue, which is relatively minor for me, I'm extremely happy with the DualPro.

Incipio Edge Pro

I want one of these too! I like a case that is easy to put on and off. and also the funky design.

In the meantime, the OVRMLD is shipping. Just kind a fun alternative to my black Feather:

I think I'll be going with the OVRMLD as well, cause the DualPro might not have enough protection. The colors are great too!

Also- anyone know when Macmall is going to have the incipios in stock?

Could I have the link on which one you ordered with through Amazon?

I ordered from this link but it was a different seller at the time.

Just an update on the case. Its holding out pretty well. Its really looks and feels like a metal material on the very backside of the phone. Im not sure it will last as long as I'd like before it begins to loose the look and feel and become a more plastic feel, but so far so good. I did put a decent scratch on the case but it still looks and feels like metal.

Enjoying the larger screen, the blazing fast phone, and a great case!
