Got my gray feather in today. Nice case but the bottom edge is kind of sharp.

Could you post more pics of your phone with the case on? That's the gray one? Not black? The gray on the website looks much lighter. The shade in your picture looks good on the black phone.

Here's a few more. Was messing with some extension tubes earlier so they're all close-up shots...

The case looks much better than the images on their website.

the OVRMLD has a soft back while the Faxion has a glossy back. Glossy backs scratch easily and the damage is very visible.

Cool. Thanks. Good to know.

Good question. And I have no idea why I chose the OVRMLD over the Faxion. Looking back, I see that it says "expansion joint for easy device removal" and that may have pushed me toward that model. No regrets in my choice though (as you've mentioned, they're both super similar). Good luck choosing!

I didn't know there was an expansion joint. Thanks!

OVRMLD vs Dualpro

Whats the difference boys? They're both 2 piece designs

I don't have the OVRMLD but based on my observations and what others have said, it looks like it's a two-piece design that snaps together? Material-wise, it looks like it's a plastic (I'm sure there's a fancy name for it) and a rubber type thing molded together...hence the name OVRMLD? I'm sure those with OVRMLD can tell you more about it. I personally like this design the best because it's sleek.

As for Dual Pro, it comes with a silicone skin (inner layer) and a hard shell (outer layer), making it a little bulkier than OVRMLD. However, it likely provides a better drop protection. I got this for when I travel. Although not as thin, it's still sleek considering it's Otterbox-esque with multiple layers.

Here's a video of the dual pro to give you an idea: http://youtu.be/VpBiD9ndCes

Hrmm not sure from looking at your images, but could you tell me if there's a lip? So if I were to place the phone face down on the table it won't touch the glass? Also, how's the overall fit, will the back scratch the phone when removing and putting the case back on?

this is what Im waiting for:

love slider cases...

anyone else looking forward to this one...?

Like that too. Would like to know how the inside is made especially the edges that slide against the iphone.

I don't think the OVRMLD is a tow piece design. Someone in another thread is getting one today so we will see. Its similar (I think) to the Speck Candy Shell.... one piece with silicon inside.

A very, very small lip. The fit is great. I think due to how easily the phone can scuff (mine already has a few), I'm be more worried about the case scuffing the edges than the back. Hope that helps

should be out sometime this week... AT&T stores usually carry Incipio products so Im planning on walking in and trying it out before purchasing... AT&T's packaging allows you to open it up and try it on right on the spot...

Hope so. They only had the frequency in black and pink yesterday.

I got my OVRMLD case today. It is a one piece design. I CANNOT put it on. I am sending it back to Incipio tomorrow. If I was able to get it on, I just know I will break something trying to take it off. The case is super rigid. It looks and feels great, but I just cannot keep this case. Bummed.

Well we can all strike that one off the list. I sure do not want any damage due to putting it on or off.

I would hope someone can review w/pics the ProEdge slider that Incipio has. I know most slider cases do have issues with dust getting in the edges but it looks well built on their web site.

INCIPIO's NGP CASE IS BACK IN STOCK! I just ordered my obsidian black one today. Can't wait to get it, definitely saved my 4S from many drops and slides even from getting out of my lifted truck. ~$22 shipped (free ship option)

What color did you have on your 4S? I had the dark grey one that was slightly see through and I liked it a lot for my 4S so I'm thinking about getting one for the 5. Is the obsidian black one slightly transparent as well?

Amazon seems to have some in stock now too.

Using the NGP now - fantastic case! Thin, light, protective, not a lint magnet. As close to perfect as you can get :)

Now that the OVRMLD has gotten a bad review I hope someone can report on the EdgePro slider. I really like that design but skeptical about slider cases.

+1. Same with me. And if I did get it on I feel I would NEVER get it off . . . Waiting for Edge Pro!

Yeah me too. What color combo are you looking at?

Good question. I like to change covers for different uses. For my corporate look I really like my black Feather. For vacation, on the Edge Pro, I might actually go Gray/Yellow.

My NGP is enroute! Pics please! Also are you using a screen protector? If so how is the fit. I have a set of SGP Ultra Fine screen protectors coming as well.

I like that color combo too. Wish the made the EdgePro with the gray/teal like the OVRMLD. Let me know how you make out.

Glad to know I am not the only one. I gave some constructive feedback to Incipio this morning. They are going to look into this matter. In the meantime, I will wait for the EdgePro as well. Was going to order the Faxion, but am hesitating after what happened with the OVRMLD.

What color did you get and where did you get it from? If you got the obsidian black is it somewhat transparent?

For my 4S I had the gunmetal and then switched to black. I debated getting the translucent one though. I ordered the black one for my 5 and tracking shows its being delivered today, I'll try and post pics when I have it on.

It's not translucent/see-thru, but on my 4S it was a nice, clean and smooth looking case. I like to keep it simple, durable and small and it worked great on my 4S, should be the same on the 5.

Only options for the new one on the 5 is Black, translucent pink or translucent grey.
