Perfect! I’ll keep checking it too. I think 19th is quite far if it’s on Bluedart. You should hopefully receive it by the 17th, which means Apple will keep their estimated delivery date for you.
If that happens, then I can expect mine on the 19th too as that’s my date.
What are the chances that the macos version will be 11.1 out of the box for people who are expecting their macs in the coming week?
Quite low, as it was in beta till a few days ago. Should be a quick 20 min upgrade though, so it's not a big issue.
When I got the Mac mini 11.0.1 was already out but the Mac mini had 11.0 installed. So, I would say there's very little chance that the Mac mini being shipped will have Big Sur 11.1 installed.
So I have great news! My Bluedart tracking link is now active and it is showing the expected date of delivery as tomorrow!

I ordered a MacBook Air 8/8 with 16GB ram and 512GB storage. Ordered on the 28th November, it went to Shipped on 10th December and hopefully should be delivered on the 17th. Original estimated delivery was 18-26th December, but it moved to 19th December when it shipped.
If yours is a standard config, it’s entirely plausible that it will ship around the 19th and reach you by the 21st or sooner.
That is an expensive computer, it shows 138K MRP. How much did it cost you after discounts (if any)?
Also interesting to notice, it gave you 20 days estimate, whereas I just checked and now it's giving 30 days estimate.
I ordered a Mac Mini 16GB 256GB on 1st December (Damn I should have ordered on 26th, the day I sold my macbook pro) and it gave me 23 days estimate. It's been 17 days and it still hasn't gone to "Shipped".
I ordered Mac mini 16/512 on 28 Nov with window of 22-31 Dec. It showed it has shipped yesterday (on 16 Dec) and will be delivered on 24 Dec. When I click on track shipment it takes me to the bluedart page which says record not found. But if I go to DHL and add the tracking details there I see some basic info of the shipment.
Yeah I got the education discount on it. I think the earlier estimates were much earlier and they have been steadily increasing. The last I checked, it was almost a month if you had to upgrade an Air.
You will definitely get it before your estimated dates, specially if you live in a metro city.
You're quite lucky you can use the DHL page for tracking. At least you won't be completely in the dark. I tried but couldn't. You should get it by the 23rd.
I just received my MBA in the morning today btw. It came via Syncreon, which is why I couldn't use the DHL page to track. Mac OS 11.0.1 on it, updated to 11.1 now.

This is the only option for education discount. For business/company purchases to avail tax credit you have to buy from store in person.
Do you know if we can get both education discount and GST rebate when we buy from a store/reseller ?
Nope. U can't. U can combine student discount with cashback offers from banks though but in store u will barely get more than 6% off for student discount. Apple online is the only one that gives 10% discount.
It is actually very fast shipping...even though it says standard shipping.
Basically if you are in a tier 1 city..you will get it the right next day of Bluedart dispatch!
