Heard back from Speck. They are aware of the problem with the flash opening and will be sending out newly re-designed Candy Shells in 10 days or so. Definitely contact them if you want the upgraded case.Anyone will to try the Griffin Reveal black sharpie on the inside of the flash opening trick on the Candyshell?
I've contacted Speck and am waiting to hear back.
Will definitely wait a while before getting our next iPhones. This early adopter thing is annoying.

Does the back of this case get scratched up like the CandyShells for the 3GS? It looked like ***** after one day.

People worried about cases scratching should install shields over their cases.
if you all want a case with less bulk and more plain..but same material, i got the rocketfish gel case (semi clear, not the rubbery one) from best buy and i love it. doesnt show scratches, fits very well and still pretty slim. and it was 19 bucks
I received the same email. I just sent them my contact information and told them to contact me if they needed anything else. A very nice offer on their part.
Usually they don't. I had a problem with my candyshell once and they just sent me a new one right away. I did have to tell them my order number though.
so after taking a box cutter to my gumdrop case i finally fixed the camera flash thing....now my iphone 4 case has a nice square around the camera...no biggie tho
I love this case, but I think it's just a bit too bulky. I pre-ordered a GroveMade Bamboo case & white/green bumpers. I'm thinking I'll like the bumpers. I currently have a black one that I bought on launch day, & it's phenomenal!
That's weird that they're offering to send the Pixelskin case, yet it's not for sale up on their website yet. That is actually the case I want. I had it for the 3GS and loved the feel and grip of it.
hmmm, my local ATT store said they got Candyshell's in but won't be putting them out till tonight or most likely tomorrow. I wonder if these are all defective? The kid said they have black and cotton candy and purple and some other colors. A friend of mine got the black and I have say it looks nice. He doesn't have the flash issue he claims and he already dropped his i4 and said he is glad he had the candyshell on it.

Theynsaid in an email to me 9-11 days needednto make the changes to the current line so I would think all cases at At&t are themolder model. Mine definitely screwed up the flash picture. Otherwise it is a great case

a) That's not a Speck CandyShell.
b) Re-try it in a totally dark room and not be so close to the item you're photographing.
