Really? You will rather wait several months for a laptop you're spending ~2k for in order to save on software that's going to cost you a whopping 29.99?![]()
Nooo I was asking if its worth waiting. It would only be 30 bucks??

Lion is only slated for "summer" which could very well mean a launch as late as early September.
Something much more custom would have to be between Intel and Apple but I find it highly unlikely.
Does anyone think that whoever was responsible for the "sticking Toyota accelerator pedal" got fired?
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; nl-nl) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148a Safari/6533.18.5)

Apple doesn't generally launch a new MBP alongside a new OS.
Rather a company own up to a mistake now before it gets to end consumers. That being said, he SuperDrive in the 2007 aluminum died last week. I with you. I want a new iMac.![]()
Now I don't know f I should wait for the new one or just buy the current ones with the new processors. Or just keep my with the C2D processor. Decisions, decisions.
If you buy a new one every year, buy now.
If you want a new laptop to last several years, and your current laptop is mostly meeting your needs - wait.
Except in the real world stuff happens and no-one will get fired, which is correct. Does anyone think that whoever was responsible for the "sticking Toyota accelerator pedal" got fired?
ya so i had to replace this machine once because of a screen flaw. Fortunately my warranty was reset in november when they gave me the new machine. Am I going to get a recall notice for this machine?
I'm seeing people say the Updated Quadcore iMac uses first iteration of the i5 but I could have sworn I read that intel was dolling out the newer i5 and i7's for this iMac update. They got an exclusive pre release of the chipset or something. I could be wrong but thats what I remember reading.
so my question is... is the current iMac quad 2.8 going to be affected by this flaw?
macs usually last like 6 years right? I want it to last me all through college and after
