International iPhone 4S Order Status Thread

This is what I'm trying to get hold of! It tells me my order number is invalid despite email confirmation that it'll be delivered on the 14th. I need a time frame here!
 
Just got my shipping notification from Apple. Saying Receive it October 19th.

Tracking shows it left China at 1:00pm local time on Oct 13th. UPS tracking isn't showing a delivery date, but it was shipped via UPS Worldwide Express.

Will definitely be lining up on the 14th now.

I just received an email from Apple saying my 64 gig black IP4 has shipped. Supposed to be here by the 19th ( I'm in the B.C. Interior, Canada).
Ordered as soon the Apple store was up the first day.
 
So no news on official shipping in Australia yet? The 19th seems like a bit of an unfair date. Why pre-order and get it a week after it comes out, when we could have just lined up at a telco... The frustration is hitting me again.

We were the first to get "Preparing for Shipment", wouldn't it make sense that we got shipping details first? doesn't make sense, ill be glad when this is all over...

It will be over by monday at the latest! Because they ship "by friday", they will come on monday at the latest because of one weekday shipping.

...of course i am presuming they will be shipping from sydney, not Shenzen.
 
Incidentally, the iPhone shipping to me here in Canada is coming straight from China.
While disappointed by the estimated Oct 19 delivery date I still have to say it was better than the last time around.
I can't remember exactly but when I ordered my current iPhone 4 from Apple last year I think we Canadians had to wait like a month or more compared to the 'Mercans.

In the Canada Order Status thread I saw info regarding world EASE shipping and how they will come earlier than the 19th!

Worldwide Expidited, to be precise. World Ease is a bulk thing that makes it easier to clear customs if they're shipping a lot of products.

Apparently it is shipped from Shenzhen otherwise it won't take that long, will post more information once I can see where did it ship from

this sucks...

If they can have stock over here for the Carriers and Apple Stores, surely they could have stocked up their warehouses for the dedication of people that pre-ordered and CANT just go out to a store in the morning and line up for one on a work day. This is very disappointing news.

Owing to the fact this is an international forum and that country-specific authors are a little more concerned with their own delivery, than anyone elses, how about we identify exactly what country we are in before we post time or process-specific information?

I'm in Australia - mine has shipped, but TNT consignment note says invalid!

LOL - and it says in the confirmation email that it is expected on 20 October! What *********! I pre-ordered at 6.55pm on Friday night. haha

Can you tell us what time you ordered? And post a screen shot of your tracking when you can access it! Thank you!!

I hope this is not typical of all of Australia. :(
