International iPhone 4S Order Status Thread

I phoned apple as my status was still saying processing and I was one of the first to buy my iphone 4s. Oh forgot to say I am from the UK. I was told by the operator that my iphone will be shipped on friday so I won't get it before monday, tuesday or wednesday! Not happy!

I pre-ordered the ipad and the iphone 4 and I never had this problem!

Man you have it bad.... Mine changed like 24 hours ago and still haven't gone from Preparing for shipping to shipped.

Please tell me that you ordered late and your on the 2nd shipment that is coming direct from China and that the 1st shipment will be from Syd

It takes some time for TNT to update the system; the tracking number is reused from previous shipment.

I ordered within minutes of it coming out. And my status only changed to Preparing For Shipment after I called 133 MAC a few hours ago. Not feeling to optimistic right now.

You wont need the IMEI to register the MicroSIM. It will probably be best getting the SIM today and start the SIM swap so its all ready to rock'n'roll for tomorrow... beat the rush and any potential network issues. ;)

(The MircoSIM works as a normal SIM too, until you 'pop' out the micro part.

Why they hell have they took so long to ship ours? Americans will probably start receiving theirs today, and majority tomorrow. Why is Apple doing this to the rest of the world?

Mines is still on Preparing for shipment...if it doesn't changed by about 3pm then I guess I won't be getting it tomorrow :(

Of course it is. But can I suggest that rather than suffering in silence or venting here to no avail, anyone who feels unhappy about the situation call 133-622 and provide feedback stating that when you pre-order you expect to receive on launch day just like the 1st gen iPad. Push them past all the "oh but the site said ships by not delivers by" and simply tell them you are providing feedback on what you expect from an Apple pre-order and why it is that you chose to stay up till 3am to hit the "go" button within seconds of the site coming back to life.

This won't get you yours any sooner, I'm sure, as there really isn't too much they can do at this stage but at least they will know that you aren't happy with how things have been handled this time. I am not suggesting being rude or "tearing them a new one" just saying make it clear what you expect and why you expect it.

Apple does tend to listen to it's customers when enough feedback is provided. iPad rotation lock is a good example.
 
Ships on the 19th

Just got my shipping confirmation.

I cant see the benefit in pre-ordering online!!!!
 
Anyone from the UK who ordered a white 32GB been shipped yet? What is the delivery date?

If not, whats the latest model to have been shipped?
 
Just got shipping confirmation for 'Delivered by 20th', this is *********, i ordered within minutes of the store being live and i will receive it a week later, and im in Sydney, Aus BTW... i simply cannot believe it, i will never pre-order a product again from Apple if i will receive it a week later from launch date when i was one of the first to pre-order. I am paying $999 for this product and i expect at-least the same treatment as the Americans.
 
Sweet, Ive received my Shipping Notification email from Apple! (UK btw)

It says shipped on the 13th.. Estimated Delivery on the 14th. NICE!

Whats the best way to track this now...? Will it be by TNT? Ive never heard of Syncreon! :confused:

Just about to ask that question! - except for the 64GB. Take it you have not received your shipment email? - I haven't yet...

Anybody else from the UK not got their shipping confirmation, or has anybody received them who ordered a 64GB?

Nope not shipped yet! Some people from the UK have said that their iPhone is in the UK (near Birmingham which is where the Apple warehouse is I think) and that they can track it. So fingers crossed my iPhone goes out today!

Seems to be just the Australians who are getting theirs next week :( :(
 
UK white shipped

Got my shipping notification this morning for a 64GB White UK. It says will be delivered by tomorrow!
 
In Vancouver, just received update on iPhone, shipped and delivery date has now changed to Oct 14th, before 12:00 pm.

It said Oct 19th before so this looks a lot more accurate. I imagine it'll change for the aussies too.
