International iPhone 4S Order Status Thread

Entering the details of my iPhone's pick up in Shenzhen into the TNT transit time calculator gives me an expected delivery of before 18:00 on the 17th.

BUT, Apple's email said delivery before the 26th.

Presumably my shipment will be on the saturday flight non-stop from Shenzen to Sydney... Flight HU 7913

It was sent on the 12th, and the confirmation email from apple promises an express delivery to my door for 14th at the latest.

Can you track it on the TNT-website? I can't. :-/

Im in AUS and my TNT is saying the following.

If it's just left Shenzhen then I doubt you'll get it tomorrow I mind last year with my iPad it flew from Shenzhen, Holland, England, and then to Scotland. Unless they are speeding things up this year...

Everyone in Australia is in the same case as me, although a flight from HK to Sydney is around 10hrs i think, i think your correct. Again Australia is the country that is left out again... As always.

My shipping status still says that ETA is today, Oct. 13th.. Just called Apple Aftersales to get further information: The package has landed in Prague, CZ and is on its way via transit. Hope it'll get here by tomorrow.

Mine only changed last night. It seems a lot of peoples status' have changed to Shipped (mines still hasn't) but I think as long as you ordered early enough on the 7th then you'll get it tomorrow.

I think the only people who may even remotely get there's in Australia tomorrow is you mate because you're in Sydney! I'm out, cos I'm in Melbourne... I'm pretty sure from memory they despatch first to Sydney and then out... but sure, I may be wrong.

In an ideal world, I'm hoping that they've had a major backlog in scanning paperwork and that it's in Australia already and that it's an administrative delay in processing wishful thinking!

Mine has just updated as follows:

13 Oct 2011 17:23:56 Shenzhen Shipment Collected From Sender.

So I guess that nullifies my theory ha. It's still in Shenzhen... not even near HKIA which I'm assuming it would pass through as opposed to going direct from Shenzhen via cargo. Grr.

For those in Canada, it seems to me that the shipment entry point is Vancouver. BC seems to have a arrival date of the 14th, Ontario seems to be the 19th, and me in PEI... well I don't currently have an arrival date yet, just says it left Hong Kong at 19:26 local time (about 2.5 hours ago).

This is all just conjecture based on what I've read so far.

PS: All subject to change of course. In my experience it's fairly common for Apple to quote a longer arrival date and for me to get my product a day or two earlier than the original scheduled delivery date (although this is my first pre-order).

One day they will just teleport our iPhones to us...
Mine still hasn't officially shipped, but I'm hoping they have been flooded and just haven't been able to update peoples status as yet. But I still think that if you aren't in Sydney, then you won't get yours until Monday. I had a look on the TNT website, and it does take one day to get from Sydney. UNLESS. They have super surprised us, and stock is already in an Adelaide warehouse somewhere super secret. And they will deliver it to our doors after they deliver to all the Telcos and the Apple store. Though I think that if they are opening their doors tomorrow morning at 8am, the shipment came through today, and it is already waiting in their stores. I have these arguments going on in my head about how the logistics of the shipments would work, and right now for me it's 50/50. Well more like 51/49...

Yup - you're right mate Mine shows that too. It could refer to paperwork only having been received/sighted in SYD which I think has shown up on a different Apple product I've had delivered from SYD - MEL on a previous occasion. Fingers crossed though!
